Like many others, I'm still thinking why IRAN hasn't placed an order of 150+ SU-30 MKK along with J-10Cs yet?
They need a lot of Aircraft for their Air Force.
Let's see, but the PN views about Damen are pretty positive. I don't mean for Tankers only but there are other Naval equipment that PN might need to buy.
So, how many OPVs has PN planned?
I have read someone's comment (but it is not official news), PN has planned 6~8 of OPVs and is interested in other Auxiliary Ships from Damen.
Let's see what will happen in Future.
If that increase in import is related to Electronics which the new IT / Netizens utilize then we shouldn't be concerned. Instead, Govt. should remove all the Taxes and Duties on Electronics Import.
Any possibility of looking towards the Damen Ship Builders Frigates and other Marine Products? In one of the threads related to 2 Damen OPVs arrival to PN, somebody indicated that a follow-up order of another 2 has been placed.
Does anyone have any information?
I guess PN should negotiate with Agusta Westland to upgrade the whole Sea King fleet with the latest Avionics and Marine support systems.
Also, PN should plan (which is somehow already getting into shape) its future Aviation Fleet like this:
10~12 AW-101 Naval
10~12 AW-139 / AW-159 Naval
10~12...
I guess Dutch might be delivering 2 more OPVs soon.
But what other ships do they have for PN in terms of FACs, Frigates, Mine Hunters, & other Patrol Ships.

That's also a role of a Destroyer too.
Why I am saying about :china::pakistan: Type-55s & TF-2000s :pakistan: :turkey: is that PN might be considering a Turkish Style LHD / Small Carrier for UCAVs and Helicopters and this would require a cover from ships like Destroyers.
Pakistan's Coastline can even be defended by FACs, Armed OPVs, and Corvettes alone with Air covers like MPAs and JF-17s; adding some Coastal SSKs.
Frigates and Destroyers are usually used to Patrol international waters.
Can you please share some information on Type-54Bs and their...
