Looks like the Punjabi Thread is locked. Yes when I was young we were discouraged in school to speak Punjabi. Our Mother's started speaking Urdu at Home. While I am not against Urdu and other languages but it hurts when you are branded educated or not educated due to your language.

Thank you for your thoughtful intervention, but I think I have upset these two gentlemen. They will do better with less attention from me. Once again thank you.
