The flag was unfurled in Assam’s Dibrugarh area.
ASSAM (Daily Dunya) – Pakistani flag was hoisted in Indian state of Assam creating palpable tensions.

The flag was unfurled in Assam’s Dibrugarh area.

Separatist movements operating in the state aims at ridding people from the atrocities and oppression of India.

Local police say that the flag was hoisted by two men belonging to a separatist party and have been taken into custody.

Muslims are generally scared of this when expressing sentiments sympathetic to Pakistan. My shirt with Pakistan Zindabad written on it mysteriously disappeared when I was in Lucknow in my uncles house and I was entreated not to express any pro Pakistan sentiment while there. Those who support Pakistan keep it a secret because of fear of the state and its horrendous policies against muslims who are always treated as different.

and India...?..... but authorities were so pro-Pakistani that made two arrests in the same area for hoisting Pakistani Flag...

You would have to be an idiot to wear that "Pakistan zindabad" shirt in india! Especially in a hothead of blind emotions such as UP!
I mean dont rile up the bull and not expect to be bulldozed! Your family probably saved you and us from an international incident and most probably like a million page of endless Pakistani whining on PDF on the incident!

I suppose respect for your host country is too much to be asked for is it?

Its my choice what I wear or where our families loyalties lie. India has been trying to shove patriotism down muslims throats for years. It didn't work then, don't work now.

Buddy no one is asking you to not be loyal to Pakistan. Just a time and place for everything.
what exactly were you trying to prove anyways? Did you think that Indians would have a PDF type "debate" with you with moderators closely monitoring to ensure your rights? This is india and even within that UP, the cow belt as they call it. If you truly are from UP, you should know better than to tread on bhayyas within UP which is Indias Wild West (or east)

Besides, freedom of expression is for Indians NOT Pakistanis! You were a guest in our home, you should have been more respectful.
Also, it would be better if your family moved to Pakistan since india is clearly not giving them the right to profess their love for Pakistan. They can freely express themselves there wouldn't you think? India is an oppressive country anyways
