Iran conducts some executions publicly, but the great majority are conducted in prisons.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRNA) reported Iran executed 20 people in two days for various crimes such as drug trafficking, theft and manslaughter.

Iran, with an average of one execution per day, ranks first in the world for executions per capita, followed by China.

On Monday, one person was executed for manslaughter in Hamedan Prison, and one person was executed for manslaughter in Shahab Prison.

Iran conducts executions by hanging, and many of those sentenced are condemned in unfair courts and are deprived of lawyers. HRNA has reported that Iran executes women as well as those under the age of 18.

A total of 16 people were executed at Rajai-Shahr Prison for manslaughter on Sunday, and two people were executed for drug trafficking in Lakan Prison.

Rajai-Shahr prison, located in Karaj, is known to be one of Iran's harshest prisons due to many reported cases of murder, torture and rape. Suicides of prisoners have also been reported.

Iranians have no right to criticize Arabs as Iran also hangs criminals...

Hypocrisy of Iranians needs to be end...

Iran's laws are less tolerant. This is the only reason why so many people are executed.
Compare this to the law of Norway where Mr Breivik who killed more than 80 people can not be hanged.:frown:

Forget being hanged. The Judge and the Prosecutor got our of their chairs and shook his hand. Yes, they welcomed him into the court and shook his hand. The video was on youtube and the outrage it caused was immense. If he had been Muslim.....well, that's a different story. But Muslim, Christian or anyone else. If you kill innocents, you should die.

Except, Iran is biggest executioner capita in the world.
@waz @Oscar IP check for this guy. If he wasn't from Israel, he must be a traitor criticizing Islamic rules over execution of criminals.
Moreover i prefer this kind of execution to CIA's one :
USA executes in this way

@Valar Dohaeris Why don't you criticize our enemy traitor?

They execute drug users, that's how little it takes to get executed in iran.

Why thy did this ?

Why thy did this ?

I have no idea. But the excuse was that Sacndanavia is so damn liberal that even a mass murderer deserves 'respect'. Watch the video is its still available. But I have seen it with my own eyes.

Execution for manslaughter makes sense but for other crimes I feel the punishment is way to extreme. Only Iranians however can decide how they are ruled. What I have witnessed though is that a number of Iranians don't like the mullah regime. Hope there is a system in Iran that is acceptable to all the people.

Actually the purpose of news is simple. When the Arab countries execute their criminals, there is no need to go haywire. As, Iran is bigger executioner than Arab world. And, there is no doubt, most of the sentenced must be the people who raise their voice against Iranian ruling clergy.

WTF are talking about? We execute drug smugglers, serial killers, rapists etc unlike those monarchies in Arabic countries who are executing revolutionary leaders and religious men. Think before you spew your non sense propaganda against Iran.
Read Quran for more information about execution of criminals:
"وكتبنا عليهم فيها ان النفس بالنفس"
"فمن تصدق به فهو كفارة له"
"ومن لم يحكم بم انزل اللّه فاولئك هم الظالمون"
"وهدى وموعظة للمتقين"
You are an anti Quran in my opinion @Valar Dohaeris .

Funny !!!

People crying for rapists , drug smugglers , etc !

Maybe you should compare the level of safety and security !!!

Criminals have no Rights to live...

If you let them live or set them free , innocent people will die instead of criminals!

What is the intent of such kind of thread mate??? It is their country their rule. Let Iran and Arabs decide what they need to do with their citizen? Why Pakistan or i consider India too should be judgmental about their judiciary system...

How will you react if Iran or Arabs comment on your or my judiciary system...Those people who are punished must have done something wrong for which they are punished....
