ISLAMABAD: Police on Friday arrested a woman with her seven accomplices for allegedly thumping her husband in the precincts of Shalimar Police Station.

According to reports, the accused, Lubna Qamar, gave Rs 500,000 to contract killers to teach her husband a lesson as she suspected that her husband was having extramarital affairs. Police informed that the accused entered her house and opened fire and injured a charted accountant, Muhammad Fahid, who lived in the upper portion of the house and tortured the husband, Raja Iqbal.

The husband filed a complaint that three men forcefully entered his house at 3am and tortured him. The police registered a case and started investigation. The investigation conducted by DSP Shalimar Gulam Muhammad Baqir, Shalimar Police Station SHO Kafyatullah and Sub-Inspector Mansoor Ahmed on the direction of IG Police Islamabad revealed that the husband and wife often quarreled and the wife suspected that her husband was having affairs with other women. She asked her friend’s husband Umer Hayyat to thump her husband, the investigation further revealed.

Umer Hayyat contacted Arab Gul a thug and offered his gang Rs 500,000 for the job. The police team under the supervision of SP Saddar Captain (r) Zeeshan Haider arrested Arab Gul, Munawar Khan Tariq Khan, Saleem Nawaz, Usman Zaib, Hameed Gul Muney allies Israil resident of Peshawar, Umer Hayyat resident of Sargodha and Lubna Qamar Raja and recovered two pistols with 17 rounds, rope and cutter from them.
The police got physical remand of the accused from the authorised court and further investigation was under way.

What she did was wrong, but need to commend her guts to get back at her husband instead of seeking sympathy. Hope she acts smart next time, there are many ways to skin the husband....err the cat.

100 percent agree we should have our rights Only we here is women rights and their cousins ( G*** Rights ) what about us.

Imagine if a man did this....Everyone would have been "all men in our society are monsters" and asking for castration ...what and what not. Likewise if he had accused her of adultery, everyone would still have sided with the the woman, but if a woman accuses man for cheating, she still gets the sympathy vote.......So much for the gender equality

Pakistani women! Fiesty, vengeful, not to be messed around. And these forigen fu*** tell us that our women need empowerment!

If a man hired thugs to beat his wife, then I would condemn him.

However, if a woman hires thugs, I perceive that as the woman getting the justice she deserves. Of course beating someone up is over the top, but cheating on someone especially when your married is very hard to forgive in my opinion.

How do we ascertain that the victim really was cheating and the wife didn't have any other motive to have him beat up or even killed? She hired assassins, who brought guns and shot their neighbor, are we still going to take her word that she only wanted to teach him a lesson?

How about women who cheat, what sort of treatment should they get? ............Because when such situations do arise even then a woman, who is subjected to violence for infidelity is presented as a victim, so why not the same rule for men?

i dunno..women aren't still there. men are the worst cheaters, especially pakistani men. they think it it's okay for them to have secret marriages and affairs and even bachabazi but would kill their wives at a hint of the same.
