Officers ask COAS Bajwa about Dawn Leaks

COAS was on a visit to Kharian where Officers asked him regarding status of Dawn Leaks. Also, they raised concerns regarding PMLN's minister's remarks on Military Courts

So this is not a leak but discussion held during question session with Junior Officers. The Dawn leak was not agenda of the session that includes many other subjects as well. Like I said in other thread, the news is not a leak or that the matter of Dawn Leak is put on back/halt. Like it is reported, COAS discussed and replied the same queries in detail so nothing suspicious. The contexts of such news were a bit confusing in other thread that we discussed.

Matti pao ji... This all is a topi drama to show the public tht matter is not put under the carpet...but we all know its fate just like everyone knows the fate of panama leaks case... I have spoken soo much abt it..tht now i am out of words on what else to say....

Everyone knows the real culprit in dawn leaks, ie Maryam Nawaz..but still none knows it officially or u can say....none has the guts to punish her, just like in panama leaks case... So now this case has been brushed under the carpet...

Now public is being fooled again..in this topi drama... Committee was supposed to submit its report within one month...but now 2months have passed but nothing abt the report...and even if it comes...it will accuse a low level officer for the leaks.....a scapegoat will be made..tht is IF. EVER its report is made public..which i highly doubt...

I wonder when this has been decided already tht real culprits ie Maryam Nawaz cant be punished..then why this case is even talked abt...and released in media by army...? To fool the public? Earlier also corp commanders conf press issued a statement tht its a breach of national security..and then nothing.....now...its being released in media through sources tht officers asked questions abt it... Do they take public as fools? Why create hype abt an issue..regd which u dont have guts to punish the real culprit? If u dont have guts..just stay silent..but dont take public as fools..and play with them....memogate, dawnleaks....same history repeated.. Public ko pagal banaya hua hai sab ne...

No need to be dishearten as such. Let the matter be concluded and such sort of things cannot be concluded in hurry or as per the wish when it comes to national security and ruling elites that needs time so nothing be left as lacuna in the case while pressing the charges. In short, it is not what its looks like so have faith. I am repeating again, there is nothing like leak in this news but questions asked during a session and discussed as Media was there hence the video however, an overall view of question session is shared by the media. Leaks means something like Dawn Leak that words came out from a highly secret meeting and still, IMO, there are four names in the list of investigation. Panama is not the issue of Military at all but is in the Court.

Dawn leak was a big issue but got little attention from govt as well as army , there was a news that a 'Jit' was formed to probe this issue but nothing happened .. Unfortunately govts in Pakistan were always weaks or perhaps unwilling to act when It comes to nationsk security .. National security isn't govt prority it seems ..
And security breaches is normal case in Pakistan..

I dont like attitude of some pti fans...

If it does not suit ik ... than hell with army supreme court.. hell with cpec.. hell with saudia turkey qatar and china....

There are 200 million people in pakistan ... and this country cannot fck all its institutions and friends just caz none of them are dancing on ik tunes... just saying...

If the attitudes continue.... it would be fck ik from rest of country soon

Ok...let me ask you..... Is Maryam Nawaz's name included in those 4 names? Do u think Maryam Nawaz will be punished? Give me an honest answer... Everyone knows the answer... This cant happen and wont happen...... So EVEN IF EVER report comes, some low level officer is going to be made scapegoat...and the real culprit will roam free... Why punish some low level officer? Just matti pao..and military should stay silent abt this case, rather than creating hype abt it, and saying tht its breach of national security..and then make someone a scapegoat..and tht too, if some action is ever taken on this so called national security breach

I don't see any scapegoat in this scene at all. And Military did not create any hype but media. The matter of National Security Breach will not be compromised at all and I am hopeful.

I can't understand attitude of IK phobia. What IK has to do with it.

Many Pakistani citizens were concerned about Kerry Logar Bill and Memo Gate. Similarly, they are concerned about this issue which was termed by Core Commanders as National Security Breach.

Amongst those are people wearing uniform who sacrifice their lives against terrorism but then section of government term them as sympathizers of terrorists. Isn't it their right to raise the concern with relevant authorities?

We will all see...if Maryam Nawaz will be punished or not?We know she is the culprit.. None othere than her, in the PM house could do /order such a thing and her calls were also taped and her whatsapp messages... What will some lowlevel officer get out of such leaks? Nothing... Everyone, except the judges know tht Nawaz Sharif family is lying and they are culprits...but just like judges are innocent there, who know nothing...similarly maybe ...authorities who are investigating dawn leaks know nothing, but everyone else than them knows tht who is the real culprit, ie Maryam Nawaz.. Just like Nawaz sharif will get a clean chit from judiciary inspite of being guilty in panama case, similarly Maryam Nawaz will get a clean chit, inspite of being guilty on dawn leaks

How did media create hype..when it was military which issued press release after corps commanders meeting and said tht its breach of national security... After tht press release...media took this issue and started doing programs.. And then later, another press release on this issue came after Gen Raheel Sharif met Shahbaz Sharif, Ch Nisar and Ishaq Dar..and press release said tht its a planted news... When ISPR itself kept issuing press releases on this matter..how did media create hype and not the military?

If the verdict goes against navaz and he's disqualified by the s.c , it would be the end of navaz dynasty from Pakistan's political theater

I referred today's news is not a leak nor a hype by Military but Media.

Panam is not a Military issue but Dawn Leak is so lets wait.

If the hope is lost then I don't see any further development in this regard. Rather than making accusation and provoking way before conclusion, it would be wise that we may wait for the end result.
