IAF Cheif Confirms his Plans for IAF

My guess is by 2025 ie 8 years time Indian air forcec will have changed with fewer fighters but more multi rolers and fewer combat types greater emphasis on awacs ucv and sams and real time Intel via satalites
 
Its true the USA is very unreliable

Under trump it will be erratic also

But LCA is a turd shaped as a lemon so they may induct a few for ego and do simple jobs but in reality they will need a single engine fighter to do the job LCA was supposed to do

So dont be surprised if a sudden announcement of one of the planes comes around

Pakistans normally keeps its plans very hidden and then you get a sudden out of the blue announcement

India Normally does months and years of song snd dance allowing its fanboys to indulge in countless mental masterbation fantasies but they may keep things hidden for the moment

IAF will renew its lost love for LCA(they lost it when Kaveri engine programme fell through) when it flies with own engine with the help of Safran under Rafale offset clause.

You expect them to understand? We take pride in what ever something we achieve and they take pride in criticizing it. It was how they reacted when ISRO sent its first satellite and it is how they react on the Mangalyan Mission. Look at them, they havent changed at all and their criticism hasnt done any harm to our growth. Relax and sip a cup of coffee.

Well my uneducated Indian brother the J10 does not MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS as for the J31 it will arrive soon incompetent mate

2. Despite obvious flaws and reservations IAF will have to induct 6 or 7 sqds of Tejas MK1/MK1A

3. India is very very keen to place order additional Rafales in coming years

4.Despite murmuring of pulling out of FGFA programme the indoi/Russian project to build a indian SPECFIC version of the PAK FA will happen afterall.

I WANTED to share with the PDF guys and ask does this change the likely shape and make up of the PAF .

India is sticking to Russian French fighters with Israeli input EW suites missles & radars. THEY will not buy USA hardware

1. There were never such plans, just media hype.
2. MMRCA is very expensive therefore tejas is there to make up numbers.
3. IAF will order more, but how much depends on economy
4. IAF has invested so much in FGFA, pulling out is not an option as there is no alternate.

What about MKI?

1- India has been negotiating nuclear technology with US, which was delaying IAF's fighter procurement.
2. No surprise, India cant afford to loose its face against Pakistan.
3. French really knows, how to twist Indian arm.
4. After waisting time and money, India relaized that no where in world it can buy 120 4+ generation fighter for 10 billion,........... along with ToT and assembly line ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
