Why are so many Pakistanis Real Madrid and Ronaldo's fans?

Anybody with an iota of technical understanding of soccer would know that Barcelona is FAR superior team to Real Madrid..and Messi is EASILY the greatest player to have ever lived unptil now. (FAR superior than ronaldo, Maradona, or even Pele).

But many Pakistanis will deny these simple points by giving stupid reasons.

Like, I hate Virat Kohli--but who can deny that he is FAR superior cricketing batsman than say Umar Akmal? (They both came to international scene at the same time, mind you)

Barca can be no where near far superior. Yes they are better in past few years. But they are no where near to be called far superior. To call them far better is exaggeration. Real madrid lost last la liga season by just 1 point. We won UEFA champions for 11th time.

So nope Barca is not far better. And I at least is not a glory hunter. I would continue to support RM no matter what.

Well I am not talking about "brand" Real Madrid...I am talking about the team.

In other words, I am talking about "current" Barcelona team vs current Real Madrid Team. Lets look at last 5 years and see how each team has performed. Hell, lets look at last 10 years and make the comparison.

Barcelona ABSOLUTELY crushes Real Madrid in almost every aspect.

More La Liga titles, more European championships, more UEFA cups and so on.

Furthermore, Barcelona dominated Real Madrid in one-to-one match ups as well.

Just take La Liga..in last 8 titles, Madrid only won 1 title--Barcelona won 5 or 6

Or take UEFA champions league---the highest competition of world soccer in terms of competitiveness (yes, even higher than the world cup)---From 2004 to 2014--NO team in the world (including Real Madrid) had won UEFA Champions League more than once

.......and Barcelona had won it FOUR times in the same time period. That is the level of domination Barcelona enjoys over all other teams.

At their peak, this Barcelona team was called "the single greatest soccer team of all time" by many commentators. Their chemistry, team work, game play, skill level, stamina, tactical soundness, and soccer intelligence has been absolutely breath taking, to say the least. I haven't seen a more superior team than present Barcelona in last 8 to 10 years or so..

Even then when so called god came to Barca Real Madrid managed to win it all including Copa Del Rey, UEFA champions league and La liga. Even last year Barca managed to win La liga by just 1 point margin.

This year we are ahead with 6 points.

As I said. We are not glory hunters.

C'mon, winning 1 UEFA champions league vs 4 for Barcelona. Winning 1 la liga vs 5,6 for Barcelona, and same goes for Copa Del Ray.

Furthermore, do I need to talk about other competitions such as Worlds Club Football etc where again Barcelona dominated.

In past 10 years, Barca has easily dominated the ENTIRE spectrum of global soccer. Whether it's too European leagues, or UEFA cups, or head to head matches...nobody even comes close to Barcelona.

And you are up by 6 points..good for you. I hope real wins this year...it's getting boring for us winning year after year after year. We would like some mediocre competition atleast...for past 10 years, it's been just walk in the park for us with Barca winning 80% of everything out there all alone while tens of other top teams getting on the remaining 20% amongst themselves hehe

They have amazing Youth Talent just approaching peak who Zidane did not used properly he was too timid and cautious
and rightfully.

However had he been more ambitious and gone with 2 FW , note Benzeema is not running or putting in a strong effort
they likely would have won 3-1

The El Clasico is played and developed in midfield and without Kroos Madrid had a lesser chance. also we should't forget Bale's absence.
