Pakistani diplomats 'enjoy their time in Washington'

WASHINGTON: Outgoing Indian Ambassador to the United States Arun Kumar Singh has stated that India’s diplomatic tactics and foreign policy is more powerful compared to that of Pakistan.

While giving an interview, he said that the ties between US and India shall remain pleasant, irrespective of whichever political party forms the government in the United States, as the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have been captivated by his country’s diplomatic strategies.

Answering to a question, Singh criticised Pakistan and said that Indian diplomats in the US remained busy in further improving the country’s image and were involved in lobbying in the US House of Representatives instead of wasting their time in leisure activities, whereas the diplomats belonging to India’s neighbouring country (Pakistan) enjoyed their time in Washington.

Singh said that Pakistani diplomats should take lessons related to diplomacy from Indians, further adding that Indian businessmen associated with technological companies in the United States have almost gained control over the US industry and over the country’s digital technology.

Former Indian diplomat said that his country’s diplomacy had played quite a role in establishing long-term trade relations with the United States.

well why should it matter to us or for that matter our diplomats are they paid to make our case strong in washington or see what others are doing ?

Indeed we should take lessons on diplomacy from India. On another note when important positions will be offered on the base of close relatives and their aides and who can defend the corrupt King of Pakistan, than it does not matter what the diplomats do with the rest of the time. Pakistan needs diplomatic reforms but for that to happen we first need reforms back home.

That aspect reveals India's obsession with Pakistan.

The article almost missed mentioning the talk when Indian diplomat was asked, "how is his body rash" to which he replied;

"Our body rash is a lot better and less itching, as compared to India's neighbour's body rash which is red and hurts them more."

:drag:

Does being an Indian means a person who's born in India and is obsessed with Pakistan?

Since your ambassadors live in the US and other countries on the basis of
YOUR TAXES ie taxes you pay ; you must ask them tough questions
about what they did to lobby and advance Pakistani interests

The problem is that Modi Sarkar keeps a strict vigil over their diplomats especially in U.S and China.

This Indian diplomat seems envious of his Pakistani counterpart who must be having some real fun.

But as an old saying goes :: to ERR is HUMAN ;)

Lolx so this obsession is at national level. Why he is so worried about pakistani diplomat. Although paksitani diplomats are at worst now a days

The good thing for India's diplomats is that

India fast growing economy, India's huge markets, India's stable democracy, Indians in key positions in US corporate and US governments have all contributed to India's diplomatic success than just the skills of Indian diplomats.

For Pakistan, it doesn't enjoy any of the above, hence Pakistani diplomats don't come across as good. Moreover, there is Pakistan's military that has upper hand over civilian governments, hence Pakistani diplomats have their hands tied.

Anyway @ontopic, it was undiplomatic of Indian ambassador to comment on Pakistan's diplomats. He should have minded his own business.
