Govt announces enhanced compensation for terror victims, Pak-occupied Kashmir people can apply too

Actually no. Its not a mere horseplay. I am not able to put my finger on it, but this is pretty serious stuff, a major political shift, supported unanimously by principal parties in India.
US agreeing to Turkish intervention, Russia giving the customary feeble protest aka tacit approval, building up on ukrainian front, belligerent India ..... major trade offs somewhere.

That statement in morning which we briefly visited, not a mistake I think.

The end game is elusive. @Oscar will again dismiss my musings .. But things have to make sense, I dont find any yet
I mean, not really. Most of this, I talked about half a year ago, because it was obvious where the world was headed.

India's policy hasn't really changed, and things will de-escalate, if India can manage to end the protests in Kashmir.

To me, this is nothing more than a way to try and show off.

The Kashmir protests are the issue. Support from Pakistan is too extensive in perpetuating it through various public proxies roaming freely in Pakistan.

It is a dilemma for Modi. By taking such an overt and hard public stand, he has risked his credibility. He won't back down. And he has managed to get the political spectrum united on the foreign and Kashmir policy aspects by limiting discussions only on Kashmir on Pak side. The question is, will Pakistan ease off support to protests?

This is no more a show off. This has become serious, only people are either unwilling to accept it publicly or are seriously misreading it.

There isnt any sense! I have a quite clear point of view and stance on all that is "following up" after those terrible incidents in IoK but i do not really want to go public with it as the results are well know to me already. However i can say that you do not need to look for some hidden agenda and sinister plans!! It is quite simple, a screw up and now attempts to cover it up!! ALL that have followed. The worrying part should be that it is not working at all but the not worrying part should be it wont matter anyway!! \
Confused you? Dint intended to do so!

You can apply ;)

Heck, apply for a PIO passport. Make it into a public and citizen movement .....

Imagine all applying for a PIO passport, politicians on both sides will run to get things sorted out :rofl:

@Arsalan this idea tickled me

@WAJsal apply for a PIO passport at Indian consulate since India claims GB too. Give me the application number then ....:enjoy:

@Joe Shearer sir remy still affecting you? How is this brain fart of an idea?

@jbgt90 voila a solution ... For Kashmir

Oi you eligible for PIO passport? If you reside in GB, go demand one at Indian consulate:dance3:

Time to troll our politicians

AJK people are the richest in the region. modi g should give this offer to muslims of gujrat whose relatives were killed by modi g himself.

If Pakistan is behind these protests, and I believe it is not, than it can only exploit what is already there. You cannot convince people to protest, if they have nothing to protest about.

Again, India can end these protests diplomatically and quite easily, and there is little Pakistan can do about it. Whether Pakistan supports these protests or not, it really doesn't actually matter, and that is a bitter truth that Pakistanis have to swallow. I'm sure that a good chunk of the protesters don't actually even care about joining Pakistan, they're protesting because their grievances haven't been addressed; Pakistan is a tool for them to get India and Modi to listen to what they have to say.

Absolutely. That is what I found on ground in Kashmir, and that is what I have been posting a number of times.

It has more to do with governance and political settlement, azadi and Pakistan are the tools except for a few vested interests.

Thanks

It runs much deeper then mere protests. .its the first time in history that a BJP supported government is running J&K.

All opposition have come together (I suspect - even the Congress) to create issues for it.

Compensating victims of Indian Military bombing in Azad Kashmir is a 'humble start'?

Indian bombing in P-O-K/AJK what are you talking about mate- It is Pakistani Forces who start unprovoked firing after Pakistan looses some cricket match and our Jawans have to defend-

And yes Its a Humble start even If some person gets killed by Indian firing, because they are our own people, we compensate our people when some unfortunate incident happens-

Situation is very bad here in Karachi. Send me my share of rupees 1 million.

Karachi is legitimate territory of Pakistan, It is rather unfortunate that you are having trouble there, please raise the issue at UN, G8, G20 etc- I am sure you'll get help as the world hasbeen witness to huge number of Pakistani who are migrating to seek safer places to live as the situation has been very bad in Pakistan-

No matter how rich they are, 10 Lakh PKR is not a small amount.

For 3 Lakh PKR a Random Punjabi youth is willing to go for suicide missions in India, after a little seasoning by Mullah, 10 Lakh would go a long way, If some seasoning is applied by right minded people, India should work with traders associations in places like Dubai, Jeddah to see to It so the right man gets the compensation without much hurdles-

Hummmm. No thank you. We are patriotic Pakistani and we love this country.

We don't need any UN or G20. It is better for you if you keep this money to spend on the extreme poverty of your country instead for propaganda about AJK.

Patriotism doesn't feed hungry stomachs-

P-O-K/AJK people are Indian and It is only natural that they get proper share of India's growth- Like any other Indian-
