Going to be my 6th Semester this fall with major elective being Radars and Navigation Systems.

world really is a small place...or maybe COMSATS has got Engineers all over the world

Ummm you're a bit late. Applications started quite some time ago and the lists of successful applicants are already out. First batch of internees is already in kamra.
P.S. It's better to have the department recommend your name to PAC instead of applying on your own.

In our office we have 6 engineers graduated from CIIT.
BTW Radar and Navigation Aids were offered to us at 7th semester. I secured 85 Marks in it.
Muhammad Bilal EE Dept project coordinator was our teacher.

do they advertise in newspapers ??? how do i get my department to recommend me??does gpa matter?? do i need reference?? do they offer internship in winter???

bit of a conspiracy theorist but overall a nice guy...gave me A- in antenna

You don't need anything, just send them the documents they have asked for (both are available online in PDF) and send them to PAC Kamra (I think you have to deliver them by hand at the gate reception).

You need to have a bonafide certificate from your University or get a recommendation from head of department.

You have to do this procedure by about late April-early May.
