ISIS attacks Turkish Army on Syrian Border [T-155 destroyed]

İ am very interested why Turkish Land Forces send tanks to mountain? High Mountains can not be passed with tanks near the Georgian border.
İf Turkey wants, Turkish Special Forces will sabotage all objects whereever in Syria. it wouldnt first job of Turkish Special Forces.

Russia first reported Turkish artillery strikes in February 2016:

One of the originals of that video (perhaps not even the original).

Don't you feel stupid after acting so cocky?

Turkey wants to fly over Syria. Why would Turkey use aircraft to bomb targets in Iraq but only use short range artillery in Syria? The answer is because Turkey does fear getting its aircraft shot down over Syria. Recently a Turkish Super Cobra (supposedly equipment with EW system) was blown to pieces by an old Igla fired by Kurds. Before that a Turkish F-4 was shot down by a Pantsir.

Russia already has Pantsirs and S-300 in Syria as well as other air defense systems, including the most powerful air defense system in the world, the S-400.

If old MANPADs can destroy Turkish aircraft then S-400s, S-300s, Pantsirs, SU-30s and SU-35s would have no problems. so yes Turkey is afraid, it's not just me blowing hot air it's Turkey's actions that prove it.

Yeah we al believe russia LOOOL

The answer is as simple as a dumb like you may understand, or may not. Turkey and Northern Iraq Regional Government made a deal about hitting PKK targets in N.Iraq. But on the other hand we don't recognize standing Syrian regime and there is no agreement between two countries. So, Turkey is not a bully country which violates others' airspace, if we do so they have every right to shot our jets down.

and if someone violates our airspace... you know the story.

You can in no way guarantee an uprising won't begin in Russia in 5,10 maybe 15 years.

everyone is waiting for this..

lets pray this will happen I would love to see the russians go where they belong: back to moscow area

.He will keep on ignoring the facts and keep on bragging about his country's extraterrestrial powers!

seems to be with all dictatorship brainwashed guys.. I rarely found a german russian guy who is against putin.. most of them are firstly for russia and then loyal to germany ..

talking with them is useless they only see you as an enemy..

Down with ISIS and their terrorism. The entire world should stand up to what they and Bashar Al Assad are doing in Syria. Both movements are as evil as the other.

Which is the second one ????

The F-4 that was downed by a Patsir.

You still don't get it, we don't trespass into a hostile country's airspace.

Greece, Syria and Cyprus would argue otherwise.

We saw in Serbia, how great your air defense assets are..... We destroyed it once, i think we can do it for the second time.

Serbia had some very old systems in very limited numbers. Still google how many aircraft the US lost in Vietnam due to Soviet SAMs, look at the heavy aircraft losses Israel lost due to SAM, and look at the gulf wars. The coalition also lost its fair shair of aircraft in Yogoslavia.

Russian propaganda ? Care about your totally destroyed base instead of Turkish Cobra Ruski.

First off all I'm not a "Ruski" or a drunk, or rapist, Like you have called me in the past but keep up the bigot attitude I'm sure the admin of the site loves it when moderators behave like racists.

As for the picture. So what? Artillery seems to have hit a Syrian air base that Russia has used to land helicopters. The helicopters in the photo may not even be Russian but Syrian.

Russia also denied that the photos was recent. More interesting is that ISIS never even claimed responsibility which suggests it's an old photo. That airbase was used as a staging ground for the Palmyra assault, do a quick search as to the helicopters deployed to the base. Most Russian helicopters deployed there were KA-52s and MI-28s, mi-24s were also used but in limited numbers.

Proof:

Turkey has suffered massive casualties fighting the Kurds, Turkey even admitted to losing over 500 soldier while the Kurds put the estimate at 3 times higher. Then there is attacks by ISIS.

Point is many Turks here were cheering when the SU-24 got shot down and the pilot brutally murdered, one soldier was also killed trying to rescue the pilots. In the mean time Turkey is losing equipment on a large scale. You know what carma is?

No need to mention your Syrian bases inside of Turkish artillery range. destroying almost all parts of them including your SAM is just a matter of desicion.

Armchair general  and you think Russia does not have Turkish artillery targeted as well? Why do you think Russia brought iskanders, artillery and naval assets able to launch cruise missiles for? Moreover, Turkish artillery can not reach all of Russia's military assets in Syria.

If Turkey decides to attack the Russian military in Syria it would receive no help from NATO and as much as you think Turkey is a 'big boy' the reality is Turkey can't touch Russia. Russia can launch cruise missiles from Russian soil, from aircraft in Russia, from ships, and submarines. Russia can launch ballistic missiles and use strategic bombers to level any part of Turkey. Russia has one of the largest strategic transport fleets in the world, while Turkey has what?

Bottom line, Turkey has no long range offensive capabilities while Russia does. All of your large military bases and factories will be hit within hours of an attack. Good luck to Turkey trying to target Russian military bases or factories.

Greece, Syria and Cyprus would argue otherwise.
Mate, i feel like, i can't express myself....and i don't know what to say more about the subject.

1-) Greece is a fellow NATO member, not a "hostile". Yes, we trespass into each others airspace on a daily basis but that doesn't end with a shoot out.

2-) Cyprus is a complicated issue...we have thousands of troops there and they recognize it as an invasion..... :meeting:

3-) You are still saying Syria....... How many times should i say that after 2012, we recognized Syria as a hostile country and never tresspassed into their airspace, in return shoot every Syrian aircraft that trespassed into our airspace.

I want to stress out that prior to downing of the Russian Jet, there were two different instances that Russian aircrafts flew into Turkish airspace. Because we were able to identify them as Russian aircraft, we didn't shoot them. Just protested. It would have the same situation if the Russian aircraft that had been shoot, did not closed it's transponding systems, and we could have identify it as a Russian aircraft. But we warned you several times.

Russia and Turkey was cooperating on so many fields, heck, even you was considering the sales of S-300 to Turkey, training our Nuclear scientists & engineers, massive tourism, Russia was selling huge amount of Natural Gas to Turkey, and even as a staunch US and NATO ally, we didn't participate in the sanctions against Russia.

Irresponsible attitude of the Russian government destroyed the relations that has been build on decades......

Sums up the situation pretty well but a Russian will never accept that the responsibility for the situation lies at their side and that the Russian accusations regarding Turkey are largely false.

In the end of the day, we set a statement while Russian sactions werent really effective, Tourism only lost 10% visitors compared to last year (which is also affected by terror recently, not only Russians) while economy grew bigger than expected, Russia lost billions on various projects, Akkuyu Nuclear plant being the biggest one which probably is going to be built by Japanese now.
Our loss is nothing compared to Russias.

Since Russia is apparently a superpower we will have to deal with their false pride, dont expect him to agree with you. :rolleyes1:

Bro.. its just steel plates imported from Ukraine to Iraq.

Weapons producing factories in Bulgaria right now are booming as they export rifles, munitions etc. to the Middle East- officially to the UAE, Saudi Arabia etc. but most weapons end up God knows where. There is even a photo of an ISIS convoy of new 4x4 car with Bulgarian license plates just because Bulgarian smuggler steal cars and sell them in the Arab countries. A lot of drugs produced in Bulgaria also end up in Syria and the Arab world...

Mafia and smugglers make a lot of money from all the unrest in the Middle East but no one is saying Bulgaria helps ISIS...

ps Everyone has his interests in Syria, some people make a lot of money from all the shit happening in the Middle East.
