DRONES WON'T STOP: U.S. Slap to Pakistan

Pakistan MUST have a civil war because Americans are good dudes. They bomb freedom and democracy. How can you not resist?

Shooting down a drone is easy. Also, they launch from an airbase within Pakistan.
They come from Afghanistan.

A foreign country entering your air space with drones or choppers is a clear violation of your sovereignty. It is hard to believe that this is happening without the PA and the political class giving their nod. The other countries like China and Russia being mentioned - those are spy planes not military aircraft. No comparison. But if the Americans are targeting Taliban - isn't it in Pakistan's interest?
If India had been sharing border with Afghanistan instead of Pakistan and followed in its footsteps during the Cold War, India would have been facing the same dilemma that Pakistan faces at present. Easy to lecture others.

Sovereignty my foot.

If you cant stand up then that is your problem but saying other guy wont stand up is baseless and senseless.

Last time I checked, Pakistan is not a banana republic. Pakistan have taken a stand for the protection of its assets and pursuit of its national interests throughout its history like a sovereign nation is expected to. Pakistan does not compromises on the matters of its national security. However, there are 'grey areas' to consider where a degree of flexibility can be exercised.

Taliban/Terrorists/Rogue elements are not our assets. When tracking them down, time is of the essence at times and US have the resources to get the job done in such situations.

Problem arises when US crosses a red line without taking Pakistan into confidence while doing so. US didn't inform Pakistani authorities that it was planning to assassinate Mullah Mansoor. Pakistani authorities were coercing him to come to the negotiation table. Mansoor' assassination have made it more difficult for Pakistan to bring Taliban on the negotiation table. It might happen but element of mistrust is there.

I just can sense one such episode is around the corner. Downed or not, but F-16 will be scrambled

I do wish Pakistan comes out strong since the question is of sovereignty: the later you rise against injustice, higher the price you will pay for it

Actually, USA was very keen to have India in the Western camp. Nehru of course had his idealism and NAM.

Fortunately, US has lost the leverage it had on Pakistan in terms of Aid. So if not much than at least we can guard our sovereignty.

BTW as far as I know paf had practiced to target drone by using K8

Only spineless & treacherous politicians are to be blamed, its only because of their weakness Pakistan is getting targeted by US.

I can see Military take over coming but this one is going to be a different one.
HA
Let them try
Yeh 1960 ka Pakistan nahi
WE will go to war with the military if it comes to that.

It was an ambush.
Proof?

And 90 % of the times they bomb the innocent and destroy infrastructure and then they give us few money for the loss . The drones kill alot of citizens , then those people who suffer the loss join banned outfits and challenge the stat.
Wouldn't you?

jo inho ny krna tha kr dia ap rony pitny ka faida
They have spoiled our relations with Talibans for peace process. Pak Army Jhak mar k jio
Eating a huge budget and cannot take down one single drone. Pakistani Nation no more love you like we love you in 65, 71, 98,
HAHA funny.
Love for the soldiers bro always.
The generals can go __________________.

Don't shoot the drone but at least intercept it and escort it to airbase. Make a video recording for future talks with US. The message should be clear and loud.

1. No drone entered Pakistani airspace. Confirmed by Ch. Nisar, the interior minister of Pakistan.
2. The distance between where this incident took place and Afghan border is 40 km.
3. The maximum range of hellfire missile is 8km.
4. General (r) Ghulam Mustafa confirmed this as well that some turncoats Taliban were used in this ambush.

The drones come from a base within Pakistan, the US has said so, the Pakistani army has said so, everyone says so except for the Pakistani government.

India did share a border with East Pakistan. Millions of refugees poured in India too, millions are still here. US did came to blow us to kingdom come and that was the 7th fleet not some pesky drones.

I don't know what kind of selective history lessons you have been reading but cold war is long since over. We ended up on the losing side and went broke in 1991. Time to move on.
