Right. I have seen his analysis of world cup games he is a smart player.
there are a thousand ways player like danish can use his talents in india he has i guess the best inside knowledge about the Pakistan bowling attack and there training which can be of great help to us

he can train a lot of youngsters here like vasim akram his coming to india is a good sign for owr cricket and preprations for the next world cup :D

The ban is not from BCCI nor from ICC.

This isnt hypocrisy, that giving life ban for doing spot fixing in country cricket of England?
And lifting bans on other player for doing fixing in international cricket?
My point exactly. I think Boards can ban players too, not too sure.
And the English players who were involved with him were only given 3-5 year bans, what hypocrisy.

What hypocrisy? Seriously? Or you are new to the cricket? *cough* Mohoammad Amir.

ECB, i still don't get how that works.

Its a dilemma for me too. ECB really have some beef with this guy. Apparently they started a case in Sindh High Court against him too. PCB should have done much more to defend him. However the probable reason for their lack of interest in Kaneria viz a viz Amir was the latters youth and the 10ish years of cricketing still left in Amir. I dont find the "religion" angle interesting though since if PCB discriminated against Hindus, Kaneria wouldnt have played in the team for so many years in the first place.

Boards can ban there players, not others.

Same case with Mohammad Azhrudin, Ajay Jadeja and Sreesanth.

Banned from any sort of Crikcet, club-cricket, first-class....Franchise Cricket. Plus no board will bother standing up for him. PCB needs to do that
Coaching an IPL team? or any junior teams ? Is that a possibility?

Rubbish player, good riddance

He can apply his mediocrity in india

I hope BCCI help this guy and make use of his experience and talent.

They can, on basis that he was involved in spot-fixing in county Cricket. Since that ban was never challenged by the ICC or PCB, i think things workout. Again not too sure.

These are media reports, according to him he has gone for religious purposes. The news needs to be confirmed first. Secondly he is coaching in Pakistan and he is also an analyst in T.V show. News doesn't make much sense.

I dont find the "religion" angle interesting though since if PCB discriminated against Hindus, Kaneria wouldnt have played in the team for so many years in the first place.
Many want the Hindu angle to be true.Take many of our Indian-troll friends here.... I agree with your point, plus shouldn't the English be accused of discrimination? don't get it.

Dinesh Kaneria ban is from PCB, not from ICC or ECB.
ECB only banned him to play in there county cricket. PCB banned him to represent Pakistan in any format for life?

Ask this, doing fixing in international cricket is much bigger crime or doing in county?
He was banned by ECB for life-time. ICC never lifted his ban, how can PCB select a banned player? I don't think PCB can select him.

Instead of this, you should ask to lift ban from him.

Hindu angle always going to be there, because that is hypocrisy of highest order.

Facepalm, ECB cant ban other nationality players from international cricket, only there board and ICC can do this.

News needs to be confirmed. Can't open threads on speculations.

Needs to be checked. I think you are not correct.

He lost his case in England .... I don't think PCB was ever in position to help him

Kaneria's career now seems at an end. Although his punishment was handed out by the ECB, the ICC's anti-corruption code states that decisions based on a domestic board's regulations should be upheld by boards around the world, including the PCB, which will now complete its own integrity committee hearing.

"We note, with regret, that Mr Kaneria has neither made any admission of guilt nor expressed any remorse for his corrupt actions, despite the weight of evidence against him.

"It is high time that Mr Kaneria came clean about his involvement in these corrupt activities and stopped misleading the Pakistan cricket fans and wider public."

Details need to be shared to kill the sympathies and all. We don't even know the details of his crime. And those involved with him were never given a life-time ban. A life-time ban shouldn't be given. Case makes no sense to me.

On topic: Kaneria was on T.V., just saw him...He denied any such reports. Said he went to India for religious purposes.
