Pakistan launches $500 million projects for Afghanistan development

We ourselves are dependent on foreign aid.
I bet the money allocated for their development will be exploited.
But still... At Least the govt has taken a good step.

Already too many students from Afghanistan studying in my univ & more to come ?? :disagree: ..I know few students in my univ who were born in Peshawar but they love Afghanistan & consider Afghanistan their homeland..one month ago we went on trials-6 Islamabad from univ side after completing 4km of trail-6 then the student from Afghanistan told me while pointing toward margala Hill's he said that our land starts from here & when I asked him what do you mean your land ? he said that kpk + Fata is our territory  ..these idiots should be kicked out of Pakistan & there is no need to bring in more ppl..i will be more than happy if we bring in some Syrians & build houses for them in Pakistan..Syrians need more help than our western neighbor..spend 500$ million on them within Pakistan & build some schools, colleges, univ for them,we can bring in some educated Syrians & surely they will contribute to our economy..no matter how much u invest in Afghanistan they will never stop the blame game..

You should have bitch slapped him real hard I have many Pukhtoon friends and no one likes to associate them selves to Afghanistan not even close to their border :). They can continue to live in this denial state. Pakistan needs to officially integrate FATA as the 5th province and seal the border and then we can continue with w.e policy fits right to us.

Why? why? Why?

Pakistan’s minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal announced that the country has launched $500 million worth of projects for Afghanistan’s education, health and infrastructure sectors, the media reported on Friday.

Iqbal on Thursday said that 3,000 scholarships had been offered to Afghan students in different universities of Pakistan and 100 Afghan students would study in the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Dawn online reported.

Talking to an Afghan delegation comprising academicians, lawmakers, students and civil society members here, the minister said that Pakistan had desired to forge friendly relations with all its neighbours, including Afghanistan.

He underlined the need for greater exchanges of scholars, artists, businessmen and others to boost cooperation and friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries.

“We have to start a new chapter in Pakistan-Afghanistan relations by focussing on social and economic dimensions of the friendship,” Iqbal said, adding that two countries shared hundreds of years of history.

He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would play an important role in bringing people of the region closer besides improving economy of the entire region.

“If an untoward incident happens in Afghanistan, Pakistan will be the first country to feel its heat and it will affect the rest of the world later on,” he added.

500 million now and a billion earlier.....that makes it 1.5 billion in total.

Enough to mine or build a bar on the border which would have solved the problem to some extent.

Apna khota kho ch tey chalay tusaan ummah man ban,an

Why we are miss using funds even we sell ourselves these indian slaves will be same attitude our nation is suffering from millions of issue yet these funds spebt on enemy nation and their refuges burden is everyday burden on our picket sick of this stupid sucidal policy

This is the the most funniest stunt being pulled by Pakis. You begged IMF to release you a tranche of a lesser amount and continue to rely on loans and aid yet we see a far larger amount to be supposedly given to Afghanistan. Unreal! Beside, I agree with some even if it were true (which most likely isn't) it wont make much difference as it will be overshadowed by Pakistan role in assisting and abetting terrorism.

Your either a false flagger or an unthankful Piece of shyt :P
even the amount of money we gain from selling rice around the world or the amount of afghani's living in PAK is more than your whole freaking GDP + the aid which you recieve for your country (not including export of hashish which is common in bussiness Afghanistan)so you won't be able to keep count that .......keep what we are giving or grow some balls to tell your goverment to deny it and try to survive in Afghanistan without our assistance...... AND Irony is an Afghani talking about terrorism (rofl)

You think you would have been in a better shape under russia's rule if we didn't helped you against the ruskies well guess hows the US/Nato ruling over you guys is turning out to be like and believe me ruskies were much worst than these guys i mean what the hell you guys were in better shape under Taliban rule than now :D We only gave you guys weapons and training you guys miss used it and voila you turned it into a shit hole yourself not us stop blaming others for your mistakes.....

Yup, I agree. Syrians rite now need help and Pakistan should take in refugees from Syria just like it did with Palestine and Iran.

Syrians have a different destination. All you can do is help them with money, the way KSA is helping.

he said that kpk + Fata is our territory

Tell that ******* to fuk off.....Just look how much we Pakistanis stooped down....to what level......even country like Afghanistan dare to ride on our backs, bite our hand, claim our territory and then also put blame on us......

All thanks to establishment......No need to blame Afghans.....Trust me...if we won't seal the border of Afghanistan and stop those **** crossing our territory without check and balance..........WE ARE DOOMED.

Nation will not forget those in power sitting in Rawalpindi.
