He got fired from his job. Than he went to municipality(he was working in a construction, not working in the municipality) and demanded to talk to mayor. He learned that major was not in the city....so, he decided to burn himself...and died.

Apparently he was not a sane person.

With these you're going to save your Russian a*s? So desperate you guys must be :D

Though I dont personally like these kinds of fire demonstration....but not everyone remain sane after fired from job and that too when one is daily wager or a constructor worker. Lets not shoot the victim.

is that how it worked in the libyan jamahiriya, cuba, ussr, dprk etc??

in india and usa, people suicide because they don't have employment or because of financial difficulties and in india especially the family rather than give support is cause of financial suicides ( india's rubbish traditional social system ).

little communist cuba has high rating in the uno-undp "human development index" scale despite being affected by collapse of ussr and this rating is lot higher than india... for year 2014 ranking[1], cuba was at number 44 and india was at number 135.

against this, extremely capitalist india was declared "suicide capital of the world"[2] by uno-who in 2014, with just year 2012 seeing 250,000 suicides and most of these being males... the india-specific phenomenon of mass suicide by farmers had this death count by middle of 2015[3] :
In the last 20 years, nearly 300,000 farmers have ended their lives by ingesting pesticides or by hanging themselves. Maharashtra state - with 60,000 farmer suicides - tops the list.
In a country where agriculture remains the largest employment sector, it contributed only 13.7 percent to the GDP in 2012-13.
Agricultural investment in India is a big gamble. Farmers usually take out bank loans against land to buy seeds and fertiliser, pay salaries, and acquire irrigation equipment.

Local moneylenders often take the place of banks and boost interest rates year after year, creating a debt-trap for the farmers who rely on crop success - and prayers - for loan repayments.

A New Jersey woman who worked four jobs, who sometimes “wouldn’t sleep for five days,” according to a co-worker, died Monday while napping between shifts in her car on the side of the road.

Maria Fernandes died in her 2001 Kia Sportage after inhaling carbon monoxide and fumes from an overturned gas container she kept in the car, according to the New York Daily News.
Fernandes emigrated to the United States from Portugal. She was beloved by co-workers at the Penn Station Dunkin’ Donuts in Manhattan, who called her a model employee.

“She used to work like three shifts every day,” Parth Patel told NJ.com. “Sometimes she wouldn’t sleep for five days.”

Fernandes also logged shifts at the chain store’s Linden and Harrison, New Jersey locations, co-workers said.

“She was a very sweet person. A hardworking person,” said Ravina Ramjit. “She was always joking around with everybody.”

Co-workers said Fernandes often sang Michael Jackson songs at work, mimicking his dance moves on the job. She had planned to take a break from her jobs this Friday to celebrate Jackson’s birthday at a Central Park memorial, according to NJ.com.
About 7.5 million Americans are working more than one job, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Those jobs often leave people short on income compared to full-time work, said Carl Van Horn, director of the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

"These are folks who would like to work full-time but they can't find the jobs," Van Horn said. "They wind up in these circumstances in which they are exhausted. More commonly it creates just an enormous amount of stress.”

Following the recession that began in 2008, many Americans were shuffled into part-time employment, working two or three such jobs to make ends meet.

"The average person who lost their job took a 10 percent pay cut (after returning to the workforce)," Van Horn said.

Workers in the United States are earning an average of 23 percent less than earnings from jobs that were lost during the economic recession that began in 2008, according to a recent report, as wealth inequality in the US has shot to record highs, according to variousindicators. Many long-term unemployed are considering abandoning their job search following years of stagnant economic growth.

so please don't post anti-socialism propaganda from every anti-intellectual source you find... think before posting.

do you people have no humanity??

you are laughing at his death... and sinan is washing away his death by considering him a lesser human because he was a construction worker... do you think some mba in citibank or the chief of dassault aerospace are superior humans??

in december 2010 in tunisia, a street vendor by name mohamed bouazizi set himself on fire in a similar circumstance and died in a similar circumstance, and that act was very soon employed by cia to initiate their long-planned trans-regional genocide and anti-socialist regime-change program called "arab spring"... why don't you laugh at the tunisian?? let me see if nato will overthrow erdogan for the tragic death of the turkish construction worker.

1-) People get fired, get new job and move on their life. Suicide for getting fired is a thing that no sane person would do.

2-) This man suicided for getting fired so, it is not normal to give info about his profession? I think, it is you who judge people by their profession as these thoughts crossed your mind... you can't judge anyone who is doing legal work and earning helal money. Also a construction worker can easily find himself another job in a different construction. More reason to not suicide.

3-) First learn to respect people then talk about humanity.

This Thread is just another version of Russian Propaganda, around the World you will loose your job and even there are several examples likes this, it is nothing that is specially related to Turkey !

@senheiser

It is very clearly sure that you are an leftists - otherwise you wouldn´t spend your time on a opening a Thread which includes the specific Word "Turkey/Turkish" !

how convenient.

but how do you know his situation and desperation?? turkey is not a socialist country for him to be comfortable without immediate paid employment.

did you read my second post here where i gave example of usa and india??

and why didn't you speak of the tunisian i mentioned??

as for him getting fired, i must inform you that in a media company i was employed in until just before joining pdf, i almost set up a employee union that would have been the first in the entire history of the indan software/services industry... i may look at this turkish affair in a different manner. :)
