Pak Navy SSC Operation Marines Queries

I applied for Pak Navy SSC Operation Marines Branch and I am waiting for ISSB. I have three questions I wanted to ask regarding SSC Marines. I would prefer someone serving in Pak Navy answer these questions so that I get accurate information

Question #1
After 10 years of service in SSC Marines do you get permanent commission easily or is it only given in exceptional cases?

Question #2
Is it tougher to get promoted as an SSC Marine or is it the same as PN Cadet Marine?

Question #3
What is the highest rank an SSC Marine can reach?

Both categories are different and yes it is tougher.

I want to be more clear on your answer to the first question.

1. What ratio of SSC Marine Officers get permanent commission?
2. Is it rare for SSC Marine Officers to get permanent commission or is it a normal exercise?
3. Do you mean that performance must be extra ordinary to get permanent commission?

Sir Rashid is a very senior officer at PN. It's not fine to call him by name. Thanks

PN Marines branch is expanding so more people are being inducted. Normally most of SSC officers get PC after 7 years of first contract. Performance of all officers in PN is exceptional. U have to work hard to stay in service. Im sure u will enjoy Pak Marines once u join it!

You questions have been amply answered by @maxpayne

In order to progress in the Armed forces you have to perform and specially for SSC officers it's more tough to compete against Cadet Entry officers.

PNS IQBAL houses HQ SSG(N) and is the logistic support to HQs SSG (N), SEAL and VBSS segments in their bases and field areas. The maintenance of all sea transport, VBSS boats are provide by PNS IQBAL. The training and medical setup is also located at PNS IQBAL.

SEAL group comprises of SEAL TEAM, Air Borne and ATT. These teams operate under CO SEAL GROUP.
ANTI TERRORIST TEAM
VBSS
To enhance their capabilities further PN has inducted two speedboat for VBSS operations The roles of VBSS are:

• MIO/VBSS operation at high seas/ anchorages
• Seal insertion
• Surveillance/ covert surveillance
• Anti terrorist protection of the coastal & offshore installations
• Search and rescue
• Anti smuggling duties

COURSES OFFERED

• Clearance Diving Course 18 weeks
• Advance Frogman Course 10 weeks
• Re-Compression Chamber Course 04 weeks
Training at Cherat is a separate course not offered to all.

Actually i am asking about Short service commission SSG Navy branch.
If any one shortlisted as a Sub LT then how many months he will train in PN academy and in PNS iqbal.
If some one dissqualified basic seal training then he will be dropped from service or can be transferred to other branch.

SSC will not train at the Naval Academy.
He will be trained directly in PNS Iqbal and the duration is the same for the courses mentioned.
Some one disqualifies will be dropped from the course.
I am not aware of the policy of changing to another branch in SSC.

I have no idea, I guess you will get the exact idea from Navy Recruitment centers.
