Iran has designed drones better than US RQ-170: Comdr
Iran has designed drones with better operational performance than US stealthy RQ-170 drone, said the commander of drone brigade of ground forces of the Army.
A US RQ-170 drone was downed by Islamic Revolution Guards Corps when it was on a spying mission over the Iranian soil in December 2011 and then an Iranian version of the drone was unveiled on May 11, 2014, manufactured by reverse-engineering of the captured drone.
Col. Reza Khaki told IRNA that Iran has designed many different kinds of drones that are much better than RQ-170.
Khaki said that the new drones have undergone necessary tests and will be unveiled soon.
He predicted that the ground forces of the Army will unveil two or three new drones by the yearend.

Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Saturday unveiled 'Basir' drone on the occasion of National Army Day.
Basir drone was designed by experts of Zanjan's 216 armored brigade and was unveiled during a military parade in the northwestern province of Zanjan to mark the National Army Day.
An official with Zanjan's 216 armored brigade told IRNA that weapons can be installed on Basir drone.
He said that the drone can be used for sample taking from areas contaminated with chemicals.
It can also be used in civil defense, reconnaissance missions and natural disasters, the official said.

Also there is a more complete footage of the recently unveiled SLCM which was first shown few month ago. Apparently, the missile is launched from a boat, then goes underwater and comes out few meters away.
Unfortunately the quality is not great since it is recorded from tv.
I hope they release the full footage of all above.

Also there is a more complete footage of the recently unveiled SLCM which was first shown few month ago. Apparently, the missile is launched from a boat, then goes underwater and comes out few meters away.
Unfortunately the quality is not great since it is recorded from tv.

I wish we could use them effectively in Syria and Iraq in order to gain experience for next generations .

Not much details/photos/footage are out about Fotros. We can create a new thread when a good amount of info/pics/videos about it come out.
