China Tells Muslim Businesses They Must Sell Alcohol or Risk Shutdown

I have to give them credit, the Americans are now the true masters of Sun Tzu's Art of War.

They can sell any story, no matter how ludicrous, and people will believe them.

They can tear a burning path through the Middle East, invading Iraq over fake WMD and leading to the deaths of over 1 million innocent Iraqi Muslims, then all they have to do is snap their fingers, and point at China. Suddenly we are the bad guys, the real persecutors of Muslims. Because Radio Free Asia says we told Muslim shopkeepers to sell alcohol, a story which can't be "confirmed" but who cares about whether it is true or not. Or even if it makes sense or not.

No one is saying you are the bad guys when it comes to treating muslims. Just wanted to know if this is true.

Just a pointer. If tomorrow Radio Free Asia or ilk start talking about Kashmir. (It probably already has... no idea)... Make sure you have the same impassioned write up for your Pak brothers....

None of Pakistan concern it is their citizen let them deal with it.Pakistan is not father of muslims we are paying the price for helping muslim countries in the past we cannot do this father bs anymore. It is Chinese internal matter let them handle it.Indian members should stop dragging Pakistan into Chinese internal matters.

Some idiots without confirming wanking like there is no tomorrow. And we know the idiots.

The original source for all this "news" from Xinjiang is "Radio Free Asia", an American propaganda source set up by their own US Congress in 1994.

And none of their stories can be "confirmed".

It doesn't even make sense, how could forcing a shopkeeper to sell alcohol achieve anything?

But no doubt many people will believe it, no matter how illogical it sounds. Just because it was spoken by Americans.

First ban free press from the region, and then call every bit of news that does manage to trickle out as a propaganda. CPC Red Book 101

There is a very simple solution to all this "false reporting" and "propaganda" of course, allow free independent media and foreign press in the region!

Radio Free Asia
I was surprised that some people believed this kind of rubbish ,
When did it tell the truth?

I know Radio Free Asia is always in search of negative stories from Asia and specially Pakistan and may be from China too but can Chinese member post the reality ?

Why your media is silent?

There had been such incidents where Chinese are forcing their own Muslims to go against their own religion.

Such harsh and inhuman steps can only lead to adding to the terrorism against China in the long run against China .

If these stories recently are true then trust me these are perfect case for US to start weakening China and it will append despite the fact even if China resorts to Hitler style policy

What is Islamic stand on smoking? Cos there was a Kashmiri classmate in college, who chain-smoked but was otherwise very, very pious. He insisted that there was no problem with cigarettes.

A fake news is not enough to get Pakistan's attention actually.

You have several threads with links and photos from BBC, Foreign Policy, The Guardian, Wall Street Journal, Al Jazeera, and many other respected newsrooms about the plight of Uighur Muslims in China. Stop being a hypocrite and just say that Pakistan cannot afford to piss off China for Muslim brotherhood......that is still more respectful.
