Turkish Special Operations Forces

Turkish Special Police is not comparable to western Special Forces. In wetsern countites they are divided in Special Operation Forces and Mobile Operation Forces, they are very skilled. PÖH is for my opinion a paramilitaric oragnization comparabale to JÖH of the Gendarmerie and not suited for operations in cities. They lack Technology, we saw that when the prosecutor was killed, they lacked Infrared devices to see what was Happening behind the doors and so on...

No Hakan , it is the trueth what I write. Maybe you are too Young. If a Turkish Colonel gives a foreign Lady his Bordo Bereli sign, to attract her then it is toooo late.... This Colonel was deactivated after that incident in a City in Aegean Turkey, where they ate Training sub-diving; at that time they trained also in Eilat

Why? Because he is not a fanboy and applauded everything which is related with turkish military? One of the most important parameters of development is criticism! Think about it.

German Special Forces are the best in the world . They are the GSG 9 belonging to to German Federal Police. Then follow SEK ( Spezialeinsatzkräfte) and MEK s ( Mobile Einsatzkommandos) they are oragnized in the different federal states. In international competitions they are almost top ten. Never, a Turkish PÖH Team joined an international competition. But Jordanian SWAT Teams did. The Elite Combat Masters in Turkey are SAT / SAS. No Country has Special Forces in the strength of a Division ( ÖKK), thats unrealistic.

Yes they have. Black Ops operated in Nothern Irak and Afghanistan. Their commander in Afganistan was the legend retired captain of ÖKK Kasif Kozinoglu, who was killed in prison in Turkey ( poisoned) ! Their best Action was the rescue of a high ranking CIA officer in Afghanistan, he was tortured we a bottle broken in his ...; Turkish Black Ops rescued him. The US warned KK not to go back to Turkey, they offered him resident in the US, but he beileved in Justice of his Country and was poisoned by members of the parallel state

Yes. I had posted a photo. They disguise themselves as PKK and Pesmerga troops. In fact, that is the one and only circumstance that the Turkish military personnel can grow beard

In Pak military you can keep a beard if you are religious... A hafiz etc... (In military academy).., SSG guys keep those "shaggy- Untrimmed beards as a tradition"... Meanwhile on operational areas troops can get facial hear sanctioned from the higher command -- reason is to blend in with the local population...

For my opinion physically untrained too much belly. It's a Show. 1:35 blowback lifts a bit his Hand, not enough power in arm and Hand. BMİ insufficient. Not comparable with Army-Navy Special Forces. Otherwise they would be no Police

Yes sure... They are different things... One is just police not even PÖH and on the other side they are soldiers but not only soldiers they are special forces...

Maybe. KKTC flag is there on the Shooting range. I can't see exact their badges.
Uniform is ours , maroon berets and SIG's. AK-47 ? It should have been M4.
But nevertheless, they are trained from us and operate with us.

@Neptune on the Cyprus ÖKK Training Video is something wrong, on the target boards is printed ( EGM target number). Do our KKTC Brothers get Military Training from EGM ? The shoulder badget is also a bit strange.
