Bollywood and its impact on Indo-Pak relations!

@Norwegian

The history of Drama and Fiction the stories are regarding the impossible...What happens in reality even have some fiction other wise they would not be popular and appreciated by the general public. If you remember the Titanic sunk and there was no love story... though the movie Titanic is a love story...

Indian film industry is also not different it also copies the same ideas...

The general idea behind cinema is sell people stories that lets them forget real world for a while.
Thats what all film makers do!

Trends have been changing, and yes it is hurting the pakistanis. Because the bollywood has become mature and doesnt demonise the pakistani people. It targets the rogue elements like in movies like BABY and D-Day
thats just one part the real frustation is the jealousy and obsession to harm india and all its interests

not many pakistanies will agree with it but the fact is dawood and comapany was given safe heven to harm india and its financial capital as much as possible fake making and smugling indian curruncy and making pirated movies and music of bollywood and for that a free hand was given to such people and state protection but as murphies law would be like same people when started giving good quwaliti bollywood movies pakistani nation as a whole slowly but staedily lost interests in pakistani movie industry and the smugglers and drug runners wanted in india when got state protection shatterred the socio political/socio economik fabrik of karachi and all pakistan

"miya ki jutti miya ke sir " count have been more painfully true for pakistani movie industry in perticular and many pakistani "lollywood personalities" have expressed same fealings on many pakistani TV talk shows

but the most painful part is it dint matter to bollywood much despite pakistani establishments best tactiks to kill it as position of respect for rule of law is very diffrent in pakistan and india and so is the writt of the state

and now pakistanies ask questions like "how indian culture is invading pakistani culture" or "how bollywood destroyed pakistani movie industry" but very convinientlli forget who was behind this carnage

Some times we all require change hence we do see these movies but making them your life is an other...

When one sees the Real stories: Air Crash Investigation and then read the actual transcripts of what really took place there. One sees a stark difference. Now how many citizens are interested in these... but in reality how many are aircraft investigators who have the actual knowledge of what went on...

So to sell a product one has to manipulate the mind of the targeted ordinance...

sab ganda hai per "dhandda" hai ye :D

only a very tiny minority of bollywood movies have theme related to pakistan, I dont think it can change the percepton much either negative or positive way. (compared 24/7 news for example)

I think propaganda Bollywood movies had become more sophisticated over the years, gone are the days of Sunny Deol alone killing 200 men with his roar, plus the appetite might not be very high for such movies among the Indian audience any more. But the Indian media, they are a whole different story all together.

On all unrelated note, most epic movie fight ever:

As stated above, most of the bollywood movies based on Indo-Pak affairs don't target Pakistan as a nation. It targets the army and intelligence agencies. Frankly, not more than 5% (could be even lesser) movies made in India are based on the such themes. Ftw, out of the stated movies in OP Mission Kashmir is by far my favorite. The innocence of Hrithik as a misguided Kashmiri kid and Sanjay Dutt's performance as a police office were exemplary.
