Another 'racist/religiously motivated' attack on a Sikh man in the West.

A Sikh man was brutally beatenup in the British city of Birmingham and police have launched an investigation after the sickening video of the assault emerged on the internet.

The footage, believed to have been captured on a mobile phone, shows the victim desperately trying to cover his face, as a man punches and kicks him during the brutal attack on Sunday in Broad Street, Birmingham. A crowd is gathered around the man, but no one tries to help him, Birmingham Mail reported.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We are aware of a video posted on the internet which appears to show a man being assaulted on Broad Street in Birmingham on 29 March.

“It has been suggested the attack was religiously motivated. We would like to reassure people we take such reports extremely seriously and the matter will be fully investigated.

“We are currently making inquiries to establish exactly what has happened but at this stage, nobody has come forward to tell us they’ve been assaulted.

“I would encourage the man who appears to be the victim in the video to contact us, along with anyone else who was there at the time and can give us any further details.”

The video isn't clear enough, but the main attacker can be recognized as a white person .......
Regarding the motivation, I'm not sure, not even the local authorities, hence put the racist and religious motivation part within quotes.
It could even be a case of mistaken identity, the Sikh community in the West has been victims of such attacks quite a number of times in the past.

Sikhs are generally misunderstood as muslims and get harassed...
But that is the case in USA
About UK i am not sure...

Looks like it was just a street fight.

back to the Sikh attack honestly it looks like most of the attackers are of middle eastern decent.

there was a fb group wch posted this video saying that it was a fight b/w Muslims and the sikh guy... sikh guy came to safeguard his cousin who is being molested by some pak muslims, when the fight broke b/w them...

i walk a fine line in between freedom of speech and hate. but if i know someone is touching a issue that i am very sensitive and at the same time he is 888888* me off i cannot withhold my anger , even tho the prophet said to not to i am a human and anger is my characteristic . but the EDL and their racist lobby gave the group the wrong image. i am with people that do not want sharia law but at the same time if you want to be racist oh hell no. and i love it when people say get out of my country when america or Canada is clearly native land and was the worlds largest massacre of native aboriginals. with Brits its even more funny because they are getting their medicine after hundreds of years of oppression on other cultures. and its funny how you bring Ferguson in this knowing that america destroyed black people and that their anger is justified because they are still being subjugated to the same bias and unfair system that use to tell them that they are not people.

Countless attacks on whites by minorities and lots of violence between minorities but one incident with a possibility of a white person being a potential attacker and it's jumped on
