Let's start an online campaign to get Sylhet to breakaway from Bangladesh

I agree, but it still acompasses quite abit of landmass and the division is the least populated of all in Bangladesh with only 9 million. I just don't think the rest of Bangladesh will be happy, where taking the mother fishery away from them. That is Tanguar haor, imagine, all the Bangladeshis will be mad.
 
Also add to that, Sylhet city, is the richest city in Bangladesh (I believe, not sure) it has about 4000 crore taka sitting idly in the banks of the city. No ones willing to spend it on the city though, there all just greedy. Contribution of Sylhet region on National Economy of Bangladesh - CNN iReport

Sylhet and Silchar join togather, (to form greater sylhet country) that's probably the wet dream of this guy.
 
what a shameless guy. wants to break away his own nation. If i were a bangladeshi I will never agree to this. Just because he personally hate people from perticular part doesnt mean it should be thrown away
 
This is the internet and because the internet doesn't reveal identities I will assume that @tahsin is an Indian troll, who could be IamBengali, another infamous character on defence.pk. There's only so much one knows about another mans country, Indians are pretty good at being obsessed.

Salafists wont take over sylhet ever. Salafists taken over Rajshahi but to take sylhet they have to destroy all the shrines. Sylhetys are lesser Muslim in salafi eyes. Sylhet is a mysterious place full of gaddar and patriots. It was sylhetis who worked for BD independence eg MAG Osmani. There isnt any difference between sylhet and BD. In the past many of the prominent figures came from that place. Still are in the top positions in BD. If you cant get together with other Bangladeshis as you are living in a foreign place now, what the fck we can do for you?

Lets approve your dream just in one condition, you cant set foot in remaining BD territory ever after separation. Is it ok?

BD Salafis probs respect mazar sharif like Hazrat shahjalal ra to a certain degree. They see him as a da'ee...But don't overly praise him like the sufis of bd do.
 
Bangladesh does not need Sylhet, the landlocked place will fair very well without the rest.
