What's new

Muslims safer in India than anywhere else in world: Yogi Adityanath

i will have to check, but there is of course the context to think of ( situation, targets ).

LOL. What context ? That verse is pretty explicit.

Funny how you felt no "pain" when you read that  ............ funny how your Human Rights were not Violated. :cheesy:

Oh, what a tangled web we weave; When first we practise to deceive :disagree:

The Bharat is the original name. In other languages, you might call whatever you won't , this will not change the reality of course. Germany is called as germany in english, deutschland in german, Allemagne in french. But Deutschland remains. :) So, Bharat remains. And is for Bhartiya. And All Bhartiya are Hindus, who do not bow in front of Arabs.
Indeed reality cannot be changed which is that Bharat isn't just for a particular denomination of people and Bharatiyas include muslims, hindus, christians, sikhs, buddhists, jains etc whose forefathers have lived here....

Let me pick for you,

Quaran 9:5 :

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists (Idolaters) wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Feeling the "Pain" yet ? :coffee:
Bingo.:enjoy::cheers:

Firstly discussion on religion is forbidden in here, Please take care of that and secondly I can quote as many and in fact more verses from war manual called Gita and other Hindu holy books where we get to hear a lot about "human rights"....So I would advise you to desist from bringing in religion over here....

The Bhartiyas include those who believe in Dharmic religions. Righteous religion.

1. i being muslim-born reject singing a anthem named after a hindu goddess, and whose form is also imagined ( idolatry ), and which mentions other hindu divinities, and, and when it is attached to a culture which has a goddess for money ( lakshmi ).

2. i being socialist reject a anthem celebrating a capitalism/religion-obsessed culture, and when it also has a goddess for money ( lakshmi ), and when it celebrates mysticism and mythology.

these are the lyrics...
"
She, who is as fair as the Kunda flower, white as the moon, and a garland of Tushar flowers;and who is covered in white clothes

She, whose hands are adorned by the excellent veena, and whose seat is the pure white lotus;

She, who is praised by Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh; and prayed to by the Devas

O Mother Goddess, remove my mental dullness!"

it would cause me pain to sing such a thing... it would be violation of my human rights.

Well, this is our national anthem!!

Jana-Gana-Mana-Adhinayaka,
Jaya He
Bharata-Bhagya-Vidhata
Punjab-Sindhu-Gujarata-Maratha
Dravida-Utkala-Banga
Vindhya-Himachala-Yamuna-Ganga
Uchchhala-JaladthaTaranga
Tava Subha Name Jage
Tava Subha Ashisa Mage
Gahe Tava Jaya Gatha.
Jana-Gana-Mangala Dayaka, Jaya He
Bharata-Bhagya-Vidhata,
Jaya He, Jaya He, Jaya He,
Jaya, Jaya, Jaya, Jaya He

English translation:

Thou art the rulers of the minds of all people,

dispenser of India's destiny.

Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sindh , Gujarat and Maratha,

Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bengal;

It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas,

mingles in the music of Yamuna and Ganga and is chanted by

the waves of the Indian Sea.

They pray for the blessings and sing thy praise.

The saving of all people waits in the hand,

thou dispenser of India's destiny,

Victory, victory, victory to thee.

Hear it for yourself.

Do I need to explain more? :)

Muslims are not safe in non-Muslim worlds let alone India. Given the genocide incident in Gujarat, yet that incident put Modi on the map which doesn't send friendly message for Muslims in India.

That's your POV.....

they were asked to chose India and Pakistan in 1947. They stayed their mistake :)

how about practicing idolatry ( offering food to idols and decorating ) in this context... ( Death, hunger stalk Indian tea-estate workers )?? it should pain anyone with sensibility.

LOL.....so you are trying to divert the topic than Answer the Question.

So its clear now that you feel No pain or violation of "human right" when Quran comes into the picture, but only feel the same for the National Anthem and the National Song

Now that we have established you as an bigot, let us cut the crap about "socialism".

Fell free to quote anything, ........... I just wanted to Expose your Jihadi Friend for who he really was. LOL.

Now that it's been established, I don't give a rat's arse about this topic.

You may have a point. That being said, they chose India over Pakistan. The least India could do is to compensate with assurance of their existence and respect for their faith in return.

And just in case you have mixed up our national anthem (as above) with our national song, then you are wrong about our national song also, which is as below:

Vande Mataram!
Sujalam suphalam, malayaja shitalam,
Shasyashyamalam, Mataram!
Vande Mataram!

Shubhrajyotsna pulakitayaminim,
Phullakusumita drumadala shobhinim,
Suhasinim, sumadhura bhashinim,
Sukhadam, varadam, Mataram!
Vande Mataram!

English translation:

Mother, I salute thee!
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
bright with orchard gleams,
Cool with thy winds of delight,
Dark fields waving Mother of might,
Mother free.

Glory of moonlight dreams,
Over thy branches and lordly streams,
Clad in thy blossoming trees,
Mother, giver of ease
Laughing low and sweet!
Mother I kiss thy feet,
Speaker sweet and low!
Mother, to thee I salute.

Hope you are clear now. :)

Say what? Which country are you talking about where they openly put out plaques that read "Only Hindus" or "No Muslims"? Some housing societies don't rent or sell to non-Hindus, and then some apartments in Jain and orthodox vegetarian-dominated areas of Bombay don't sell/rent to non-vegetarians, but never is it openly advertised. These instances are rare across the country, and definitely not as rampant as it's made out to be. Don't get me wrong, it's rubbish either way. What's equally shitty is that in Muslim-dominated areas of the city, they don't sell/rent to Hindus.
I've seen these "Only Hindus" sign boards nearby Jogeshwari local railway station and also in some parts of Dadar. No its not rampant but yes there is prevalence.... Yes some muslims don't rent Hindus, but the other way round is more often seen as muslims won't have issues with vegans. There actually is a untold rule that muslims try not to live in Hindu colonies and Hindus do the same. Its kind of living in isolation...

I don't think so....
Our Constitution doesn't think so and going by what Modi said recently about constitution being his holy book, then even he would disagree with you

Expose anyone any number of times you like but do follow some agreed rules while doing that...

hardly... @Razia Sultana is generally hostile and curt with me... i find that disrespectful of my work here and off-line.

next, she refused to voice opinion about certain critical indian issues i tagged her for... you will remember the latest, the thread about the beating of the boy in mangalore and the suspension from college of the ladies seen in the photo... here was another example of oppression by traditional indian moralistic-ness and razia chose to look the other way, and she must have gone to another thread to post on how modi sahaab is bringing india to "130 percent growth" ( whatever such numbers mean ).

if people are on a transnational forum and act such way, they better stick to nationalistic forums like the infamous "bharat rakshak".

razia, i write what i had experienced... please correct me if you were not being hostile.
I am not against any individual but possibly I may have a different opinion. Having opposite views does not mean being disrespectful. Also my opinion is restricted to what one expresses on this forum, I have no idea what one does off-line.

I am logged in most of the time but it does not mean i am on pdf all the time. I get tagged in several threads but I dont think its compulsory to reply or simply i may not have set an opinion on a topic. when i have time i do scroll thru various threads and at times i feel like commenting and at times I dont. I remember you having sent me a long thread but I could not find time to read it because it was really too long for a housewife. Regarding Mangalore boy incident I gave my clear views and even urged you to debate on the point but you were expecting an emotional outburst from me. I would rather be rational than be emotional. You expect me to answer in yes or no or take a binary stand. Perhaps you dont know that socio-political matters are not always binary, so I cant help it. I have also requested you not to quote me without evidence as it amounts to maligning but you continue to make allegations on me without any substance. Can you tell me where i have given an opinion on Modi and what was the opinion?

Being an Indian, I am bound to have major differences of opinions with the Pakistanis and I do get involved but no one goes after me like you do. In fact, I have very high regards for many members with whom I have a lot of differences but this respect comes because we stick to the subject matter, use respectful language and try to be logical and stop at the right time.
