People who are dumb and bring in comparisons should equally be banned on this site. @Horus, is there something wrong with the moderation crews, the Indians seem to be high. They are bringing up comparisons and making anti islamic posts as well.

Pakistan in 2014 which was one of its worst years has an unemployment rate of 6.6%. india in 2014 had an unemployment rate of 8.8%. Furthermore more people in India live below 2 $ a day in india. I don't do comparisons but annoying Indians are bringing these things up more and more in the feel that they are growing out of their pants and in the end may find themselves naked.

I grew tired of self righteous rants from your fellows. India is developing but it still has a long way to go. But I understand where the self confidence is coming from. I believe an assertive foreign policy like that of India makes the people of said country much more aggressive in defending their interests. Modi may be a war criminal but he is assertive about defending Indian interests.

We Pakistanis haven't even raised the Samjhauta Express case with india even though 60+ pakistanis died in it. Also LET was blamed for the Samjhauta express case but it was later known to be the work of hindu fanatics. I was in lucknow when the Indian media went bonkers, I witnessed it all.

The question is when the Indians were lying about Samjhauta how can we be sure they were right about mumbai especially since the cop Karkare who was investigating Samjhauta was killed early on in the attack.

He has given his assumption. Besides, he has used the word 'seems'. He has implied only a probability. You can tell him that such is not the case and the matter will be closed. Banning or even rating @Guynextdoor2 on such flimsy grounds will be unfair.

I think 2017/18 will be reveal what Modi can really do with India's growth rate. Any macroeconomic steps taken today will take at least 18 months to be fully implemented plus in 2016/17 GST should be passed and implemented which alone will add around 1% of GDP growth.

I think 2018 and beyond will see a return to 8%+ GDP growth rates for India. This year will be 6.5-7%.

I was out of the forum then and still am out of the forum. i'm here only coz my cable broke down and haven't gotten down to fix it. You're 'timepass' for me.

The projections for year 2015-16 is around 6.3% and provided we are able to control our CAD (should with crude prices low) and inflation moderating, the growth rate can easily reach 7-7.5%.
Also government has shown a great bit of intent in pushing several key bills forward (Coal, insurance etc) and with spending on infra sector growing and labor law reforms, there is no reason to believe why investments won't increase. A lot of credit must go to political stability and willingness of government to push forward reforms agenda.
