This decrease is however having no impact on the prices of everyday commodities like wheat, Rice, Milk, Sugar.

Government should make sure that if prices of fuel are being downed, so should be the prices of everyday commodities so that relief could be provided to poor class.

no no, let's make it 10 rupees a liter.

Wait, never mind that, free petrol for every Pakistani!

Canada produces tons of oil, yet we pay some 90-100 rupees/liter.
what is the monly income of average canadian ?

Dude why are you even comparing it with Pak value of your currency? You pay 90-100 thats like maybe 8 to 10 Canadian dollars..right? Also an average income of a Canadian far supersedes than an average income of a common Pakistani.

Dude, go study mathematics. But then you suck at everything.

90~ rupees is 1 bloody dollar not 10 dollars. There is a word for you that starts with r, but i won't use it.

And income doesn't mean sh1t. Whether you're in Canada, America, Saudia or wherever, you pay the international price, unless there are subsidies (which Pakistan has enjoyed many times). Just because we make more money doesn't mean we pay more for iphones etc.

Edit. Some place charge extra if they've to transport a lot etc. Pakistan imports a lot and much comes from Middle East I suppose. It's more expensive than Canada, which makes most of oil which is refined in us and then brought back. Much quicker. Yet we pay more than pakistan.

Right! so you pay $1/ litre while we had to pay above 100 until recently. Do you know how stupid your comparison was when you said we in Canada pay rupees 90-100/litre making it sound like you are actually paying more?

And when i tell you that it is not how you make a comparison because you are paying in a country where there are higher income standards you come up with the golden highlighted part above:lol: There is something called per capita income. Go and read a little about that before you make another laughable post.

Ji ji bhai jaan mera mathematics bohat kharab ha. Is liya maybe likha tha. Ghustkhi maaf

Man, simple logic is, they produce it yet they have to pay more. We have to buy it from oil producing country. Clearly, Pakistan cant afford subsidy especially giving on somethng which we import. That is bigger burden on us already.

Oil import already hitting Pakistani GDP.

Ignored your entire post.

First, know that a canadian dollar is 90 rupees, not 10 rupees. Second, learn to accept your stupidity, as pointed out by others in this thread as well.
he is actually making complete sense. he just doesnt know the nomenclature to express his views precisely. There is something called opportunity cost. People in poor countries have greater opportunity costs thats why they end up paying more for oil even when they are apparently paying the same amount of money for it.
For example if the price of an iphone is equal to the price of 20 meals in canada, its price will be equal to the price of 200 meals is Pakistan. Hence pakistanis are actually paying more. thats how economic costs work.

Learn a bit about economics before ranting pointless. You ignored by post because you know you are wrong and have no counter argument to that.

Gents, please be civil. I am especially sensitive about Economy section going the way of politics section.
Any more insults will merit a warning / ban.
