Indonesia Turning Away From ASEAN?

why Indonesia leave Asian too early ? when Chinese is ready to recognize that Indonesia is leader of Asian ?

Right, Indonesia produce the same things wt Thailand-Malaysia when u have a bigger market than them. Thats unfair, so VN support u guys to leave. Thailand will become weaker then they have to submit to VN power and the plan to unify sub-Mekong region will complete soon.

Wow, I love my evil plan so much ! (man, seem like I watch too much ' "Phineas and Ferb" on Disney channel :p:)

Thailand afraid of VN? :laughcry::dance3::omghaha:

Look at sports, and you see who is stronger.
Look at GPD per capita , you see who is richer.

Actually we don't have any border conflict with Vietnam.............:pop:

But if Indonesia leave ASEAN means that there will be more disharmony among ASEAN members too as suggested by your post here :sarcastic:

We blame our previous government and support current government new policy to prioritize our own interest first

We lost to Malaysia (2-4) in a stupid match in My Dinh stadium, let see who win win ASEAN football gold medal next year

For GDP, just bcz we have many war plus US-China sanction, but our army is far better than yours, remember how we kicked ur @$$ from 1979 to 1988 :p:

ASEAN is a cornerstone of Indonesian foreign policy, though not the only one and not the most important. This is clearly sounded by our new President within a mere 3 month of governing. The most recent & shocking policy is "sink the boat" for illegal fishing activity within our maritime zone and "no clemency" for drug prisoners on death row.

Global Maritime Axis, this is THE Cornerstone of Indonesian foreign policy. Policy that will make us stronger as a country, as a nation will be fully supported and pursued. No longer we bend and shy away if our national interest is disturbed. Indonesian maritime axis will need China support and need to be connected with the new maritime silk road.

So, in 5-10 years from now, ASEAN will still very important for Indonesia, but Indonesia have to see the bigger context, and pursue the bigger goal.

If we are just market for other ASEAN countries, it is better leaving of course, and it is better to see Free Trade agreement with Gulf Countries instead.
pls feel free and leave asean. I find your idea is brillant: join the rich club of the gulfs.

Probably Indonesia is a bit far away from other countries..
Also Indonesia is a super power in the region. Yet in ASEAN it is simply 1/10, only ten percent..
yes, it is better if superpower indonesia joins superpower china. you both are a perfect combination.
as a new indonesia-china country, I suggest the name "Indochina"
but hey Indochina is associated with vietnam? no problem, we give the name to you as gift.

a quarter of your GDP comes from adult entertainment. you are indeed unbeatable in this field

So after Indonesia's withdrawal, Vietnam will rule ASEAN according to our Vietnamese members.

These clowns still have design on the Mekong sub-region and naively believe that China would let them have their way。:D

They have great ambition since old times, China should be wary of it.
