Thank you, that is exactly what I've already posted in several threads for some time now. No post-WW2 ships of the CV/CVN/LPH/LHA/LHD varieties. Hence Kitty Hawk to India story is also bogus. An LPH (and crew) was considered for emergency transfer to RN has RN lost one of its baby-flattops during the Falklands war...
