2 Alouette helicopters inducted

Alouette is being retired from service by PAF and PA.

Its a very reliable helicopter and Pakistan has really good infrastructure to maintain these, Navy seems to be inducting them for search and rescue.

youre a mind reader......
Lolz No just wild guess. We all have typo havocs since we started using smartphones instead of good old click click click keyboards.
But now looks like the same old French Alouttee. I became hopefull for a moment :p:

Probably why India still operates and even manufactures them with glee.
Though I by and large agree with you, as a technicality let me point out that a thoroughly upgraded version is manufactured. In fact it has been upgraded twice.

All Allouettes in service here go through the same upgrades. The aircraft is was a very common sight across the world. Its spares and support are still available. As with the Cobra's, PAC was engaged in identifying upgrade venues.
That does not mean that these are not essentially designs from the 1950s

Alouette helicopters inducted into naval fleet | Pakistan Today

In order to further enhance effectiveness of naval aviation, the Pakistan Navy has inducted a second batch of Alouette Helicopters into its fleet air arm in a ceremony held at Naval Aviation Base on Friday.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila was the chief guest. Keeping in view that rotary wing assets have and continue to be a vital part of search and rescue as well as training operations throughout the world, the Alouette Helicopters have additional designed ability for command liaison and other utility features.
Pakistan Navy has retrofitted these helicopters to perform important operational functions including armed reccee to augment ground security as well as supporting other maritime operations.

Speaking on the occasion, the naval chief said Pakistan Naval Aviation had come a long way and matured into a well established highly professional component of the fleet.

He reiterated that today geo-political as well as the maritime environment in their region was complex and fluid, which required Pakistan Navy to shoulder more challenging tasks for maritime security in the region, besides maintaining combat readiness against the traditional threats.

“Pakistan Navy has always remained alive to the importance of aviation and despite limited resources, modernization, upgradation and replacement of aviation platforms have always been accorded high priority,” he said.

The admiral further said that induction of these versatile platforms had added value to the fleet’s overall capabilities and it would further strengthen the Naval Air Arm.

The ceremony was attended by veteran naval aviators, senior naval officers, CPOs/Sailors, civilians and military dignitaries.

When on earth we will start producing helicopters in Pakistan ?

Probably why India still operates and even manufactures them with glee.
The (upgraded) ones built by India are now solely for export- they aren't being inducted into any Indian forces anymore and are to be phased out by all three forces within the next 4-5 years.
