Yes, if an Islamic state attacks China, they will side with the enemy. Mark my words. In the past, the aggressors were either western powers or Japan, and their fate was deeply died to China's. I am sorry if I offend someone. But if a person can forfeit their fundamental human compassion due to religious alignment and find excuses for ethnic massacre, I have every reason to be suspicious of their royalty.

Also yes, in the past, the Chinese populace were rather ignorant of past Muslim conflicts, even the most recent and largest one in Qing Dynasty, due to the central government's one-sided wish to maintain the so called harmonious society. I wish the government's wish can come true. Most recent events finally caused the Chinese populace to dig deep into history and there has been a shift of attitudes towards Islam. It's therefore in the hands of Muslim Chinese to show compassion and loyalty to the country in order for them to live peacefully together.

I hope the stupid government can finally realize appeasement policies never work! It's human nature that when you give them an inch, they will demand a mile!

Completely agree, esp. the first one. They have to be educated in Chinese, not just their own language. I wonder what were the government officials thinking when they implemented the policies that minorities don't have to learn Chinese. Imagine in the U.S, I don't know English and only hang with people of same ethnicity? Protection of minority cultures doesn't mean isolation from mainstream culture. Jobless youth can be easily incited by radical religion.

Well, for one, Xinjiang is an Autonomous Region. Hence they have self governing capabilities and hence forgoing the compulsory learning of Mandarin. The CCP can, of course, reverse this by removing the province's autonomy. But my guess, this will further lead to destabilization in Xinjiang.

I only wish people discuss this issue with civil matter, please dont point the fingers without solid evidents, a false accusation and speculation will only make us look bad...I'm on nobody's side.

The autonomous region is Communist Party set, before it is called Xinjiang Provence. Later, the Communist Party learning the Soviet national policy , chaotic change the name. You should know that the Uighurs in Xinjiang is the actual in southern Xinjiang ，Uygur Autonomous Region , does not mean that all Xinjiang is Uighurs

I agree with your points. Yes, they must be able to learn Chinese language , while at the same time should be allowed to retain their ethnic culture and native language. I do honestly hope that Xinjiang stabilizes, for the good of the Chinese people; be they Han , Uighyur and all other minorities in China.

Are you guys sure if its a terrorist attack,which terrorist group uses knife in this manner.it looks more like turf war going on between gangs.
