Distribute PDF T-Shirts, Mobile, Tabs, ebook reader, Caps yearly to the PDF winner, could be done through lottery. Make theme songs. You know *********, Isohunts have many gifts/

As long as they can defend their narrow minded views why should their political or religious standing be moderated by pdf?

What possible defence they can provide for the quotes like Hindus are smelly, Hindus are weak and comments like that? Look a forum quallity is judged by the members who are posting it and people notice the posts of members with tag here.. As I said, they are the face of this forum..If they cannot improve the quality of the posts, then what good it is going to do for this forum.. They are also bringing down the quality level of this forum..

Well I thought you meant like the Taliban supporters or something. Yes childish remarks such as the above should not be tolerated at all.

Get rid of flags, most of your problems will solve themselves.

Make it so it looks like it is a Pakistani forum. Need more self respect around here, really................

Issue permanent bans after x-number of temporary bans have been issued.

Right now, banning has become a "bad boy" badge of honor amongst some people. Every time these repeat offenders return from a temporary ban, they revert to their old behavior, get banned again, and the cycle repeats. This gives the wrong impression to other members.

Exactly, this is my proposal.

Taking care of 'unwanted' members. I'm talking about trolls and propagandists, immature (in argument) and unstable members. (Outside members' club, on serious topics ofcourse).

Create a system;

First Ban (5 points)
Second Ban (3 points)
Third Ban (3 points)
Another ban within six months of third ban would result in 'Permanent Ban' (we had this title available in old days)
Fourth, Fifth and so-on bans would be worth 3 points, and should have six-month gap, otherwise as above, should be issued permanent ban.

To make things fair, the infraction system should be re-defined and low-quality/low-knowledge/immature-argument posts should be offered for 1 point. All members should have the option to revise their points incase of unfair awarding, and the point should be taken back. Moderators should have their system too, if they frequently give away unfair points.

This should help in establishing quality control. Quality is what this forum needs right now. Plus, PM option should be open for senior members atleast, the reason why it was closed is solved.

Right. So that more people can troll.

Sure, it sounds like a crazy idea at first but if you look around the interwebz, there are literally thousands of forums like this and not very many of them have this flag system. Why should it be any different for a defence forum?

Plus, false-flaggers would literally become non existent not to mention mudslinging such as "well you're from country x, so you have no right to talk about the issues in my country y" which is pretty much 9/10 threads.

See, if someone doesn't know anything, they should ask. If someone doesn't have something useful to say, just don't post. Flags don't mean anything. Members do. People post here just to get their posts up.
