    It would be better to discuss Duterte, Philippines and its relations with US and China at the other forum as many people here are too antagonistic about the US in almost about everything.

    Salamat my friend. I grew up in a Filipino neighborhood when my dad was stationed in Camp John Hay and it pains to see friendship between two countries who shed blood together go down the drain. Oh and by the way how do you cook lumpia? Its so good my friend and the adobo!

    Well, the only lumpia I know is the one that is cooked fried, similar to french fries.

    Sadly, there are several issues that made Duterte have a negative opinion of the US, but being educated by someone that has ties with the Chinese-brand of communism is an indicator. The other being an incident involving an American named Michael Meiring.

    Also, expect that some Filipinos will slowly reveal their some degree of Anti-American sentiment as it is rising under Duterte; some Filipino members here (sans opreh/oprih/oproh/opruh) are slowly revealing it.
