Please move this to proper section, This is Indian army thread!!!

Truelly shocking! I'm angered, frustated but most of all disgusted by the fact that the ones responsible for the massacre haven't brought to justice yet, in fact they're being protected!

People are asking for Dawood and Kasab's blood when Mohdi is still considered a hero. They condemn Taliban's for beheading people but its ok when muslims are litterly cut into pieces, women and children raped in public! Hypocrites! :angree:

Modi is guilty of omission if not commission of that offense. I wont say he actually killed anyone, but my guess is that he certainly let the killing happen. That'll be his Albatross around his neck as long as he is in politics. The problem is that as long as he gets votes in Gujrat he is untouchable. And Gujrat will vote for anyone who makes the economy grow.
Unfortunately, India is pretty bad when it comes to punishing politicians guilty of inciting riots - Jagdish Tytler finally got kicked out of poll lists, some 25 years after his roles in the Delhi riots. Hopefully he'll yet end up in jails.

BTW, what's this doing in the Military affairs section ?

If I ever could do something, I would put these pigs in a open field against Pathans and Singhs. Then ask them to show how big of man they are. It's an absolute shame and discusting how they consider them selves MAN and above all humans. This a absolute copy of 1984 in 2002.

Some 300 Hindus and 800 Muslims died in riots in 2002 in Gujarat, and that is a shame. But there is no evidence that Modi was personally behind it - if there had been, the bitterly opposed Congress government at the Centre would have got him by now.

In any case, the number of Muslims being killed by Muslims in Pakistan is several orders of magnitude higher. Neo should be even more shocked, angered, disgusted and frustrated at that.

At least Narendra Modi is providing Muslims with 24 hour power (in all towns and villages), drinking water, broadband connectivity (even in villages), good roads, good education for Muslim girls, a better economic environment through higher agricultural productivity and industrial development, etc.

So, Muslims are living better in Gujarat than in Pakistan, and that is why many Muslims too are supporting the BJP.

Modi's new admirer: Ahmedabad's Imam

AHMEDABAD: Mufti Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui, the Imam of Ahmedabad's biggest mosque, has found himself alone among the city's Muslim clerics. What

has landed the 52-year-old Imam in trouble in his own community is his admiration for Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi.

Siddiqui, a native of Sirsa in Bihar, has been living in Ahmedabad since 1982. The hardliners in the community feel he is soft on the state government with which he has been building bridges in turbulent times.

But Siddiqui is unabashed about his admiration for the CM and would like Modi, already popular among Shia muslims, to gain acceptance among the Sunnis too. The Jama Masjid Imam calls the 2002 riots an "atrocity'' but adds that the projection of the riots was "much graver'' than what had actually happened. "The time has come now to move on. It is seven years since the riots and people have already started forgetting what had happened,'' he told TOI.

The Imam says Modi has ensured peace after 2002 and feels the chief minister has "lived up to the expectations''. "Muslims too have an opportunity to prosper in the peaceful environment that the Modi government has created. Modi has provided an atmosphere which is conducive for those who want to do business in Gujarat,'' he says.

According to Siddiqui, Modi does not need Muslim votes to win the elections. It is up to the Muslims to make friends with the chief minister, he says. "Islam has in the past befriended even bigger fundamentalists,'' he argues, adding Muslims must appreciate the performance of the CM, "if he is good''.

He is also happy that the spread of the hardliner Tablighis in Gujarat, who have created numerous problems for him in recent years, has been checked by the Modi government by blocking the influx of foreign funds through `hawala'. He says his battle with the Tabhlighis for the control of mosques across Gujarat would be won only if the flow of funds from abroad is stopped.

NGOs, Teesta spiced up Gujarat riot incidents: SIT - India - The Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Special Investigation Team responsible for the arrests of those accused in Gujarat riots has severely censured NGOs and social
activist Teesta Setalvad who campaigned for the riot victims.

In a significant development, the SIT led by former CBI director R K Raghavan told the Supreme Court on Monday that the celebrated rights activist cooked up macabre tales of wanton killings.

Many incidents of killings and violence were cooked up, false charges were levelled against then police chief P C Pandey and false witnesses were tutored to give evidence about imaginary incidents, the SIT said in a report submitted before a Bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat, P Sathasivam and Aftab Alam.

The SIT said it had been alleged in the Gulbarg Society case that Pandey, instead of taking measures to protect people facing the wrath of rioteers, was helping the mob. The truth was that he was helping with hospitalisation of riot victims and making arrangements for police bandobast, Gujarat counsel, senior advocate Mukul Rohtagi, said quoting from the SIT report.

Rohtagi also said that 22 witnesses, who had submitted identical affidavits before various courts relating to riot incidents, were questioned by the SIT which found that they had been tutored and handed over the affidavits by Setalvad and that they had not actually witnessed the riot incidents.

The SIT also found no truth in the following incidents widely publicised by the NGOs:

* A pregnant Muslim woman Kausar Banu was gangraped by a mob, who then gouged out the foetus with sharp weapons

* Dumping of dead bodies into a well by rioteers at Naroda Patiya

* Police botching up investigation into the killing of British nationals, who were on a visit to Gujarat and unfortunately got caught in the riots

Rohtagi said: "On a reading of the report, it is clear that horrendous allegations made by the NGOs were false. Stereotyped affidavits were supplied by a social activist and the allegations made in them were found untrue."

Obviously happy with the fresh findings of the SIT which was responsible for the recent arrests of former Gujarat minister Maya Kodanani and VHP leader Jaideep Patel, Rohtagi tried to spruce up the image of the Modi administration, which was castigated in the Best Bakery case by the apex court as "modern day Neros". He was swiftly told by the Bench that but for the SIT, many more accused, who are freshly added, would not have been brought to book.

The Bench said there was no room for allegations and counter-allegations at this late stage. "In riot cases, the more the delay, there is likelihood of falsity creeping in. So, there should be a designated court to fast track the trials. Riot cases should be given priority because feelings run high having a cascading effect," it said and asked for suggestions from the Gujarat government, Centre, NGOs and amicus curiae Harish Salve, who said the time had come for the apex court to lift the stay on trials into several post-Godhra riot cases.

While additional solicitor general Gopal Subramaniam agreed with the court that public prosecutors should be selected in consultation with Raghavan, counsel Indira Jaising said there should be a complete regime for protection of witnesses as the same government, which was accused of engineering the riots, was in power now.

Salve said that he would consult Raghavan and let the court know about a witness protection system for post-Godhra riot cases. The court asked the parties to submit their suggestions within a week.

He allowed it, gave the mobs three days free pass to lawlessness and a free ticket to kill and rape as many as they wanted. He should be held responsible.

BS! Did you care to see the Tehelka documentry posted in the link?

In any case, the number of Muslims being killed by Muslims in Pakistan is several orders of magnitude higher. Neo should be even more shocked, angered, disgusted and frustrated at that.
But the thread is not about Pakistan nor will I allow it to turn into another India vs Pakistan pis$ing off debate so please stay on topic. Thanks!

At least Narendra Modi is providing Muslims with 24 hour power (in all towns and villages), drinking water, broadband connectivity (even in villages), good roads, good education for Muslim girls, a better economic environment through higher agricultural productivity and industrial development, etc.
None of te above will bring back 19 innocent family members of poor woman interviewd by Tehelka who were publically humiliated, torchered, raped and then cut into pieces by savages!

So, Muslims are living better in Gujarat than in Pakistan, and that is why many Muslims too are supporting the BJP.
Offtopic. Watch the Tehelka report and you'll see how secure muslims actually feel since the massacre.

Pakistan's internal problems is not an excuse for the Gujrat massacre which happened in India under the nose of GoI only a few years ago. No compensation to the affected people, no proper burial or services offered, nor any proper justice brought forth in the so called ''world's largest democracy''... World's largest ethnic battleground is more like it.

The problem with the Gujarat riots was, that policemen were seen directing the rioters on where to go, plus they had electoral lists given by civil servants, that showed muslim households to target.

Police were seen either idly standing by, or actively helping the orchestrated 'mobs' to target kill.

This official sanction, and indeed, official complicity in the Gujarat massacres, is what exposes the Bharti establishment generally, and the Gujarat govt. specifically as RSS infiltrated, Hindutva orientated, Sangh Parivar influenced, Saffron wearing, Trishul brandishing criminals that they are.

Without doubt, Bharat is an extremist HIndu State, masquerading as a secular, democratic republic.

So, Muslims are living better in Gujarat than in Pakistan, and that is why many Muslims too are supporting the BJP.

Fatima Mohammad Yousuf who's sister and daughters were cut into pieces with swords refused police protection after the massacre. Many other muslims did the same.
What to know why?
Move forward to 8.35, the terrorist Babu Bajrangi is talking infront of a hidden camera. This is the guy who led the mobs...he's still a free man.
"So you knifed women?
Yes, we didn't spare ayone. I say it even today..
Even women and children?
Yes, everyone! Kill, chop and burn them!
