Hi, I'm overseas Pakistani and I constantly hear family relatives and friends saying `I will go back to Pakistan if PTI wins the elections!' and 'Vote PTI! Only way for change!'

Not only are most (literate) Pakistanis rooting for PTI but even Indians. :what: :pakistan:

I just wanted to know what will Pakistan be like if PTI wins? This thread is to not only educate overseas Pakistanis about what PTI will offer but allow us to accumulate our ideas and give us hope! Hopefully more people will learn about PTI and acknowledge what they have to offer for the Pakistani Diaspora and Pakistanis themselves!

:bounce:

Continue the list!

1. Democracy :cheesy:
2. No more corruption :feminist:
3. No more Power Failures
4. No more being the Puppets of U.S. :dance3:

Yes if PTI wins, PTI guys will be very happy and jubilant but will change come, only time will justify. I wish, choice Pakistani nation be right and good for Pakistan may it be any A,B, C or whatever

Only way if PTI can lose is if elections are rigged. I think most Pakistanis have woken up and realized its time for change. If PTI do not win havoc may wreck on the streets and there may be riots. :hitwall:

I don't want to ruin it but in my opinion, Pakistan will wake up finally in approximately 100 years later. For Imran Khan/PTI, I can strongly say, it will not change anything. Remember, Obama's motto "Yes we can", did he change anything? I suspect it might be the same situations and it will not progress overnight.

I feel hundreds year is likely just looked at the current situations and many problems in various issues. I will sure try to vote Imran Khan, new face and new gambling, clean and shave smart looking.

Yeah....sorry to burst your bubble...but if we do that we'll become the second Iran of this world. And unlike Iran, we can't even survive with all those heavy sanctions :shout:

War OF terror will end. Pakistan won't cooperate with U.S. and NATO anymore on the war. Imran Khan will try to tell army to leave Balochistan province and FATA but army is not stupid like Imran Khan. There are dozens of enemies of Pakistan near the western border waiting for army to leave so they can raise hell in Pakistan.

I used to support PTI but not anymore. Imran Khan means well, but he's not very intelligent. He doesn't realize the dangers Pakistan is facing in western borders. He thinks Pakistan can return back to the peaceful Pakistan of the 1980's if they stop military operations. He is wrong. Enemies will infiltrate from the western border unless NATO/India/America all leave Afghanistan.

Until the education structure in Pakistan is changed, nothing is going to happen

He might be proven better leader than Zardari or Nawaz Sharif but I am not expecting any true revolution in his tenure. Some corruption can be reduced but he will not be able to cut the root of this problem

All the posters above are either overly cynical or have vested interest in the stats quo.
IK is not Obama, and Pakistan is not USA so it is retarded to say "look at Obama he did nothing"

Also, look at all the Asian tigers that wen't from living in mud huts to being world leading economies.
Were these nations full of angels? HELL NO!
These nations were also full of corrupt and stupid people, but they had one thing.
They had ONE leader who saw the bigger vision and took the whole nation with him.
In Korea you had Park Chung-He
In Taiwan you had Chang Kai Shek
In Malaysia you had Mohatir Mohammad

And in Pakistan we have Imran Khan.

Inshallah PTI will transform Pakistan, but it wont be easy and many vested interest will do their best to keep Pakistan in the stone age. But we will fight and Inshallah we will give Pakistan a future.

bt you are comparing imran khan to obama  both are very different

Imran Khan is too gullible. He will probably give a referendum to the people of Balochistan just to win the hearts of Baloch separatists.

Imran Khan is still stuck in his 1992 World Cup glory. He wants to be the hero of every Pakistani. Politics doesn't work like that.

Best for Pakistan is to have Military rule because Military are very intelligent, strong, and united, and patriotic. Imran Khan maybe patriotic but he is too gullible. If not military rule, vote for a political party that can be a puppet of the military so military can make all the major decisions in Pakistan.

I know, I am not comparing them but just give some ideas. I respect you, brother. I fear Imran Khan will accept to get along with US no choice just like Kiyani or anyone does. As we witnessed turmoil last year, Pakistan doesn't have choice much. This explain everything.

I doubt Imran Khan will stand up against US after vote elections, he will change mind. Let's have faith in him at least better than Zardari, and Nawaz.

few thing to point out is that you cant just judge someone who hasn't come into power yet, second since hes going to have a democratic party then you should also hope that all decisions will be made upon by the people rater then IK himself

one thing is for sure once IK will come into power things will change by a lot but we can't forget that all these things take time

In my opinion it will take many decades to achieve something meaningful. I'd say under PTI, immediately, we won't further degrade and at best we'd be slightly better off in everything.

Keep your expectations real. Otherwise you know how we are, as soon as someone in power for 5 years we start hating them.

I am noticing a trend here by people who dislike PTI.
They seem to think IK is some kind of Angel who will turn Pakistan into USA in 90 days.

No one is expecting that, the only people who are saying this non sense are the people who are scared that he will change the status quo.

PTI will present a 5 year plan, which they have already started. They will target sectors according to urgency, ie Power and education. In 5 years pakistan will still be a 3rd world country, but it will have functioning government instituations and it will have high growth rates. That's all PTI realistically can do in 5 years. In the next 5 years we will build off that and in the next 5. And inshallh in about 30-40 years we will be a fully functional society.

The problem for many people is that they are incapable of seeing the big picture, they look at 1 year or 2 and then say "well, they have failed"

People with vision know that you never fail until you quit, even if it takes you 50 years.
