You are totally wrong, even 5-6 years ago 1 rupee was very valuable. Many snacks cost Re 1, many chewing gums cost 2 for Re 1, Shahi deluxe costs 2 for 1, many biscuits cost Re 1 etc etc, don't know abt Lahore but in Karachi it was valuable.
