Corruption it reality in everyday life in India. What do you mean by removing corrupt leader, when you vote the same guy in.
The common govt servant is more corrupt than leaders.

corrution is the major problem of Pakistan and India

Instead of making discussions about Corruption.................we JUST need to overcome that "DISEASE"...........................allthough the future of India is so bright.................that's what I LIVE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Massive reserves at ober $300 billion and fantastic growth rate stil 7% per annum

BUT ITS INFRASTUCTURE IS A SHAMBLES compared to the WEST and the rich south east asian nations like korea south taiwan china and singpore.

PLUS it has too many poor backward people.

Thats why I like the sarva shiksha abhiyaan.
Atleast the next generation will be better educated.

Would be nice if someone can put in a list of what India needs to improve on.

Ps. I know that list is going to be an endless one

Yes corruption is a MAJOR stumbling block in India, so it makes India's success even more apparent IN SPITE of all hindrances. I have a good feeling though with the ever more outspoken anti-corruption movement in India along with the ever growing numbers of middle classes and educated people who are sick of the status quo along with ever stricter anti-corruption legislation and enforcement, India is going the right way. It is going to be a slow process but there is definelty light at the end of the tunnel.

A NYT reporter- "it is all relative, we in the West look at India and see widespread corruption, but in India as an Indian there is NO corruption. This is just the way things are."

One day such statement will be lagged over (hopefully).

Firstly, you didn't find all of those statistics individually, I've seen them all before, dont lie.

Secondly, half of the statistics mentioned aren't anything to be proud of.
