How does russian involvement reduce american Influence in Pakistan? please elaborate

We depend on US for aid (especially military). If Russia satisfies these needs; then no need for US. But still it was just a statement. I don't think relations with russia will go to that extent.

I don't think so, first of all Russia doesn't have a booming economy and second they don't give anything for free and often they charge more than they should.

I think your right skulls because russia isnt the GREAT SOVIET UNION any more plus US can afford to give aid but i dont think russia can and even if pak buys it their will be alot of interference from india so it wont be a smooth ride

I'm not sure about this, but it should mean sea routes which is operational throughout the year, and is not vulnerable to seasonal variations. Just my guess.

As far As I can remember .. neither pakistan or india shares any border with Russia.. if you think russia wants to access pakistan through Kyrgyzstan a Tajikistan and Kazakhstan route.. they already have access to Iran through Turkmenistan, why risk anything through Unstable pkaistani route... so mybe more than my geography your logic sucks..

They wont Provide Loans and Concessions Lyk China , Besides PAF is going to Acquire Fleet of Jf 17 [In Bulk], J 10 , F 16 With addition of 5th gen fighter [China] This Decade , No more Acquistions are Foreseen
